The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: Quoth the Kraven, "Nevermore." - Part 61

I dont think any scoopers actually know whats going on with SM4, i think marvel and sony themselves are still figuring it out .

With that SAID. Common sense dictates that Sony will absolutely mandate multiverse stuff in this movie. With NWH’s box office Sony’s accountants are pretty much going to be the screenwriters for this movie.

Can't post it here but Hot Ones Versus just released the only effective marketing for Aghatha All Along and they didn't even show any footage, just Aubrey Plaza & Patti LuPone goin wild.

I guess we'll see Garfield again.

Also, good thing that the MCU Peter had already been cast before this multiverse crap.

I fear we might get stuck with Tatum. :o:zany:

I am sorry, but street level with multiverse elements just sounds dumb and incongruous. Yes, I saw Into the Spiderverse. But I also wouldn't call that a street level story. It was a bit eccentric, but that was okay. So what, Kingpin goes from wanting to clear some land for his business partners to wanting do....I CANT EVEN COME UP WITH A JOKE PLOT! That's how insane this is!!!!

Just.....ARGH!!!!!

It's like in Futurama when Harold Zoid tells the crew just because its a drama doesnt mean the extras cant throw pies in the background.

I agree on incongruous. The way they say it is as if multiversal elements aren’t a big deal for a street level story. * We’ll have a fist fight with a few minor nuclear warheads scattered here and there, nothing significant lol.

I mean I'd prefer a grounded, low stakes story for the next movie after what we got in NWH.... but with it still being the multiverse saga in the MCU, you had to figure it was gonna tie into the overarching story somehow.

Wouldn't mind a tease that Tobey and Andrew are coming back for the upcoming Avenger movies. Hopefully they don't go overboard with it though.

And see, me, im in the camp of let Tobey and Andrew just sail into the sunset. We dont need to see them again. NWH was their special sendoff and them passing the torch to Holland. Another movie with the three teaming up just, i dunno, cheapens that, dont you think? It telegraphs that Holland needs to be in a team up with the others instead of flying solo.

I don't know if it cheapens NWH as an individual work. But it certainly cheapens this movie and stinks of desperation

I agree.

I want someone around Corenswet’s age. Someone who can take down Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner down a peg.
Hal is an older vet in this story. He won’t be Corenswet’s age no matter who they cast, and he won’t be the main GL in the DCU going forward, I’d wager.

I am pretty sure Hal dies by the end.
