Happy Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to hear the report of how it turns out. I’ve made pecan pie from scratch before and it turned out amazing.

I brined it overnight in a bath of apple cider and salt water then I injected turkey broth under the skin, rubbed it with coconut oil and a mixture of dried apple and chili powder seasoning with salt and pepper and then I smoked it vertically for 6 hours.
I can’t wait for our Thanksgiving next month.
