It was rushed garbage that Rothman forced to come out before Superman Returns just to get back at Singer. It's a poor movie and ruined all of the set up from the previous 2 movies. Killing Cyclops for the Phoenix Saga was ridiculous also.

I don't hate it as much these days as the likes of DOFP kinda retconned it. But man in 2006 that movie made me angry.

Having Angel fly coast to coast to rescue his dad when he could of just got on the jet with the rest of the team was weird.

$70 million? Pssshhh. We can do better than that, Symbioties. Lets get this baby to $100m opening weekend.

Yea the new Ultimate Universe line has been great, especially Spider-Man. Best Spidey book in years. I recommend them all tbh.

A bity of a heads up, but Uncanny Spider-Man is essentially part 3 of Si Spurrier's Krakoa run, following Way of X and Legion of X. You will probably be fine with just that and X-men Blue, but it is essentially the ending of a run.
