The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: The SUMC Was In The Amazon With My Mom Studying Spiders Right Before It Died - Part 61

I'm pretty sure I watched every episode too but I honestly can't recall a thing about that second and final season.

I remember Amy Acker more as Coulson's infamous cellist from AOS.
I assume you mean in terms of Marvel roles. I would hope Winifred Burkle or Root would be the overall option. :o

Yes, the second season was... uh, something. @Snow Queen watched the whole thing with me. She must of got sick of every time Bill Compton showed up, I said "Sookie" the way he does. :funny:

True Blood ended up being a pretty terrible show by the end. But I will always love it for giving me "Suckie" and Deborah Ann Woll.
I didn't make it past season 3. I did dig the first two seasons a lot though. I never cared enough to finish the show since then but I suppose at this point I'd have to rewatch from the beginning.

Oh True Blood.

It certainly was a show wasn’t it?

The last good season was when Marnie/Antonia was the Big Bad, after that, toss it away.

I was thinking it started heading down hill with s3 as well. So, yeah. :funny:

You weren’t missing anything. It’s good, horny tv junk food but nothing groundbreaking.

Sookie In Trouble-Sex Scene-Sookie In Trouble-Sex Scene-Sookie In Trouble-Sassy Lafayette Remark.

Rinse, wash, repeat.

However, I will say that the show proved that if Fox actually cared and invested in the character, Anna Paquin would’ve been a great, comic accurate Rogue.

The Gifted season 2 is notable for maybe having the worst display of a power I've ever seen. Tremendous work.

I think Season 3 was when I quit True Blood too. I just remember flashbacks being used in a stupid way to justify the new story direction or something like that.

I will always appreciate season 2 for its pretty perfect adaptation of the Purifiers.

One day I have to sit and finally watch The Gifted and finish season one of Cloak & Dagger.

C&D's depiction of D'Spayre is up there in terms of Marvel villains, imo.

Funny enough, I am leaning toward Cloak and Dagger in Marvel Rivals.

None of the shows being discussed on this page are worth anyone's time, good lord. What a page. :funny:
We need a big superhero release this December to liven the place up. Let's see what we've got here... maybe a Superman trailer? :o

One movie is four hours long with at least 10 of those minutes being every single ounce of coverage of people walking up stairs made by a man-child who ****ing sucks both personally and professionally that feeds into toxic losers hatred.

Not a hard decision there.
My choice as well.

Saw the first two episodes of Creatures Commandos... and it's fine. Granted it has the exact same setup as his Suicide Squad movie but for one thing I really like that the animation has definitely gotten better over the last 10 years of the DCAMU/Sam Liu era, there's a decent amount of frames this time!

I also like how it automatically alienated a certain toxic fanbase and "men" in the first 5 minutes of the show. The show is more in line with that Hell to Pay animated movie than anything else where they don't shy away from the sex and violence. It does go back to the old school comics where this is based on and it's also very inspired by the Univeral Monsters by the way of EC comics. The writing is sometimes stilted but I think episode 2 was much better and it does work in the smaller scenes of the episodes. While X-Men 97 has the edge due to nostalgia, this show is kinda on the same level to me so far.

I do wonder if they should have waited on this until after Superman 25 because this being the first official DCU project brings a lot of pressure. And I don't think it gives you a proper look at this universe just yet.

Been thinking about Wonder Woman lately and cant help but wonder if James is making a mistake by shelving her for now. I get wanting to move away from Gal but it feels like just as the character’s popularity was getting red hot shes now suddenly put ln ice for the forseeable future. Yes WW84 was divisive but it didnt kill people’s interest in her despite what fanboys on the internet may tell you. I feel like Superman AND Wonder Woman reboots should have been a priority to get this new universe started but what do i know.

I think he's wanting distance from the Gadot films.
