Of course its dead, what shareholders in their right mind would allow Sony to continue this mess?

Few things in life will ever be funnier to me than the video of the Wicked performance in the UK after the Queen died, opening with a solemn intro about her passing and then bam "GOOD NEWS! SHE'S DEAD!"
The reason why I settled on posting a GIF instead of a YouTube video is because the only one I could find of just that specfic part of the song was the one with the pre-show announcement that the Queen died.Few things in life will ever be funnier to me than the video of the Wicked performance in the UK after the Queen died, opening with a solemn intro about her passing and then bam "GOOD NEWS! If I was Sony, I would try to get a deal with Marvel Studios where we partner for 1 Spider-Man movie or Spider-Man character we have the license per year. That way the characters in my hypothetical Sonyverse can cross with the MCU and Spider-Man can make actual cameos in these things and make them legitimate to the audience. Maybe you build to a Sinister Six movie THIS way. Where Spider-Man can ACTUALLY be in it!
Yes, I get that means doing a 75/25 split probably like they are on Spider-Man solos. But if we can actually have Spider-Man or Daredevil or whoever interacting with these characters, then I think 75 percent of a modest success is better than 100% losses on a flop like Madame Web or Morbius or Kraven. That and my new characters like Spider-Woman can be in the Avengers also.
That's what Sony SHOULD do. But barring them doing that, they need to pick a Spider-Man like character they can use and make them the center of their universe.
In other news, hurray to the death of the Sony films without Spider-Man!
You get a role, you get a role, you get a role, and so on.
Very appropriate title for this thread.Of course its dead, what shareholders in their right mind would allow Sony to continue this mess?
I was t reading this thread yesterday and you guys were on a freaking roll of hilarity. It started with Batfleck snorting coke and went all the way up to this. And recently elected to Congress.
Tracking for a lot of things lately has been on the over end. So I am predicting an under $20 mil opening. I can easily see lower teens, maybe barely squeeks by $10. There is no hype for thisWell, tacking went up from 15m!
Most likely. But you know me. I'm super positive. Everyone knows that.Tracking for a lot of things lately has been on the over end. So I am predicting an under $20 mil opening. I can easily see lower teens, maybe barely squeeks by $10. There is no hype for this
Even a $15 million opening seems really high for this. I want to know who's gonna go to the movies this weekend and actually go through the thought process of choosing what to watch between Wicked, Gladiator II, Moana 2, Anora, War of the Rohirrim, Y2K, even reissues of Interstellar, Elf and Jim Carrey's The Grinch (at least at my AMC) and saying, "Nah to all that. One ticket to Kraven, please!"Well, tacking went up from 15m!

That'll be me on Saturday. Maybe. We'll see. Probably not.Even a $15 million opening seems really high for this. You can only see Kraven if you've watched every other movie that's playing at your theater first. That'll be me on Saturday. Maybe. We'll see. Probably not.
Those who are craven a Kraven, that's who!Even a $15 million opening seems really high for this.
