There are very few comic villains that can pull off a franchise. I'd argue we've seen the only two already. And in one of them, it was a JINO situation.Despite the financial success of the Venom movies, between the poor reception to the SSMU overall and the absolute failure of Joker 2, I would say that we won't be seeing any more comic book villain movies again for a good long while but then I remember that WB/DC Studios has a Clayface movie in development, which is certainly a bold decision for them right now.
Pretty much. Just judging by popularity after Joker and Venom, the only other villains I could maybe see pulling off not even a franchise but just a one off movie are Dr. Doom and Magneto. After all, First Class started off as a Magneto movie and if it had been a solo movie with Fassbender on a Nazi hunt that would have been awesome too. I originally thought it would be a good idea for Doom to be introduced to the MCU with his own movie but that was before the stunt casting of RDJ so to hell with that now I guess. There are very few comic villains that can pull off a franchise. They could definitely make awesome movies. I just can't imagine them as financial successes.Pretty much. First the fall of Assad and now the fall of the Sonyverse.
Now, I gotta think about my official ranking of the non-Spiderverse Sonyverse.
1. Madame Web
2. Morbius
3. Venom
4. El Muerto
5. Venom: Let There Be Carnage
6. Venom: The Last Dance
Unless Alan Wake sweepsFor Game reveals. No one cares about the awards itself lol
Legitimately better shot then Deadpool.Madame Web unmatched for top superhero movie of the year.
