The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: The SUMC Was In The Amazon With My Mom Studying Spiders Right Before It Died - Part 61

Those damn demographics are to blame.

My dude, it looked like ass. That’s why.

A mediocre tv show on the tiniest broadcast network in existence starring the character (which you chose to leave out of your “multiverse cameo fanservice” btw) had a wider audience than your film did, sir. Starting to sound like the person who didn’t care about The Flash as a character was Andy Muschietti.

I mean, he clearly didn't lol! It's clear he wished he was making a Batman movie

I don’t even like The Flash as a character and I’m insulted on his behalf. :o

Please do not reward this man with a Batman movie. Even if I do not care about that Batman movie since I’ve already got my Batman franchise, it’s a principle thing dammit. :funny:

They just finished a show that rand for 9 goddamn seasons. Of course, you don't acknowledge it, because you very clearly didn't want the obvious cameo over all your other AI bull**** cameos.

And now, I don't think he is ever going to make a Batman movie, as WB/HBO will want to keep the Reevesverse train going.

That excuse is valid for like, someone like Blue Beetle. Not the Flash
Even for those characters people don’t know or care about at all - your job as a filmmaker is to make the audience care. Blue Beetle’s problem was that it looked far too generic, not that people didn’t know the character.* Make a movie that looks unique and special and people will check it out, whether they’re familiar with the character beforehand or not.

*I enjoyed Blue Beetle for the record. But it was very by-the-numbers, which is exactly what the trailers looked like.

100% true. But I would be more sympathetic if say, he made an amazing movie based on like Gnort but it flopped. At least then he would have done his part in making a good movie. But with the Flash, you had a like top 5 DC character. This was a heavy hitter, and it failed. I cannot muster sympathy

And this is from someone who liked Supergirl in it.

And if Gunn’s writing for Creature Commandos is any indication of his vision of this new DC Studios, then God have mercy on it.

The beginning half of the show, I morbidly enjoyed, but after a while his style just becomes even more gross and formulaic and predictable.

I can only imagine what he will do with Harley & Ivy and Damian. Bleh.

I haven't watched the show at all. Did Gunn write it?

The guy that had Scrappy Doo pee on Daphne? Never. :o

So, a James Gunn joint.

Harley will depend on if he brings back Robbie or not. As I think Robbie is sort of able to bully him into her version of Harley.

She'll be in a thong and bend over in front of Condiment King and his mayo shoots out on Ivy.
