The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: The SUMC Was In The Amazon With My Mom Studying Spiders Right Before It Died - Part 61

They've hotshotted Kamala into far too big stories in my view. Her show shouldn't have taken her out of New Jersey since she's great at being the friendly neighborhood stretch (well...) girl and has a great local character gallery, and then she was put into a space story which is the last thing she should be in now. At least when Spidey came in and did bigger things it was because he had already gone through the normal stuff twice in cinemas before, while this is Kamala's first outing.

I'm watching DD S2 and holy hell were they cooking in this first half. Bernthal's Punisher is just so damn good.

I just got to Elektra's introduction so I know the Hand stuff is about to tank the overall quality but this just might be my favorite run of the show so far.

You know, this is why I really sometimes heavily consider just trying to excise myself from the online news cycle and just try to go into things blind. I hate that I'm going to be watching this show like Justice League 2017 mentally looking for all of the seams and visual and tonal inconsistencies. I almost wish i knew about none of this reshoot cut and paste drama with this show.

I think I'm already used to MCU (and Star Wars) frankensteining a significant amount of their output. Captain America 4... how many times did they reshoot that thing? Even Agatha All Along had a separate Special Presentation stitched into the show. Making decisions before shooting isn't in the Mouse House's toolkit, and just about every project suffers for it.

The Fantastic Four teaser dropping during the Super Bowl is inevitable since it's the Sunday before Cap 4 opens.

I'm also expecting the first Jurassic World Rebirth trailer and maybe another Thunderbolts trailer. Probably too soon for another Superman trailer.

One of the major changes he made was with the pace of scenes, Scardapane says, referencing his time on The Punisher. "One of our edicts was longer scenes," he recalls. "You had these long five-page scenes of characters hashing it out in order to make space between these massive action sequences. The way stuff has evolved since then, we're able to do big action sequences at a lot more pace.

I will be honest... this is likely why The Punisher show wasn't holding my interest when I was trying to watch it on Disney Plus. So I am happy Born Again won't be like this.

No wonder I didn't like Sonic 3.

You sure that was the reason why you didn't like it and not because, you know, you're not 10 years old? :o

I'm just kidding, Sonic fans. That whole destination wedding subplot in the second movie was totally fun for the adults in the audience. :o

God, I read the full interview, and the angrier I get.

"I just didn't want to hear characters grousing about their life. I want them to be doing something". And then going on to say that there is a bit of Sorpranos in the show, which, sorry, wasn't there a lot of talking in that show? It feels like they got one of the worst kind of comic book fanboys for this.

Man could not watch a single Flanigan episode.

And mark my words guys, we all got super excited when Deborah Ann and Elden got put back in and we saw those great set photos. But trust me, Foggy's gettin' killed off right at the jump and Karen is probably gonna disappear from the show from episode 2 onward, probably after Foggy's funeral. they brought those two back just kick them out again.

@Sithborg if this Russo Bros talk is legit, then you were right about MCU X-Men.

Throw the whole damn thing away. :csad:

[reads the recent rumors]
Goddamnit....

I mean, I saw when they were announced that they were only guests. So, bringing them back didn't win me back.
