Marvel Girl and Magneto are staples, hunty.

Magneto being hundreds of years old isn't a new thing in comics. Hell Evolution did it with him having a machine that made him younger by siphoning power from other mutants.

I really hope they don't go that route because it makes it even hokier. I mean there's mutants in the current MCU, but if they just use the excuse that Hulk's snap helped to proliferate them and now they're growing exponentially and people are getting nervous and scared, then you have something on your hands.

Personally, I think the idea of giving him the Winter Soldier treatment and saying he was being kept on ice when he wasn't being used as a weapon by Hydra is the way to go if they decide not to update his backstory. It'd also be a convenient way of explaining why he's only just popping up on the scene now.

I dont think it's a guarantee at all Magneto won't end up being multiverse displaced. But they're only doing that if they opt to bring back Fassbender. If they get a new actor, I am sure he will be mainline MCU.

As for the Holocaust Survivor aspect....depends on what the vision is for the MCU X-Men. I would be more than okay with updating it, personally.

I don’t want them to throw away another huge Marvel villain (after Doom) on a one off big event with no buildup and no longer term presence.

Just wanted to chime in on the Fantastic Four trailer...

I thought it was excellent! In fact, this is the second CBM trailer in a row after Superman that sent shivers down my spine. Both movies look great so far and just feel right...

Here's hoping both DC and Marvel kick some serious dinosaur butt this summer
