I put FATWS on in the background earlier this week as a refresher before Brave New World and Thunderbolts. Still a middle of the road MCU show with a disappointing finale but I forgot how much Daniel Bruhl stole the show as Zemo. He was great in that, he was great in Civil War, so where the hell is he for Brave New World and Thunderbolts?

Forgot about that plot point also, but I try to block out Secret Invasion altogether anyway.

But on the subject of the FATWS refresher, I gotta do the same. Plus finally watch Friendly Neighborhood Spidey, catch up on Harley Quinn S5 and actively avoid spoilers on Twitter until Friday.

I have a four day weekend starting tomorrow, so wish me luck.

Hard to tell without context but if it's just the Marvel Studios logo without the whole fanfare/character intro then it shaves a minute off the runtime.

If it's gone entirely because it's supposed to be a "more serious movie" then that makes even less sense because even Wakanda Forever, probably the most serious MCU movie that we may ever get had it and reworked it as a tribute to Chadwick.

Also technically "fanfare" means music and there have been a handful of MCU movies to feature the opening either without music (Wakanda Forever) or with a song (Endgame).

I do believe you are going to see the return of Steve as Cap, and Evans taking up the shield again, and not just for Doomsday or Secret Wars. I think he's going to be leading the Avengers in phase six. Mackie is probably getting killed off in Doomsday.

If we are going by MCU Steve Rogers... he wasn't a fan of the Sokovia Accords and hated Project Insight, so I don't think he would be cool with the Mutant Registration Act or super powered people being controlled by the government (look at how he *****ed at Tony for keeping Wanda locked up at the compound in Civil War).

I mean, the comic story was based on them arguing over the Phoenix. And there are quite a few X villains that could be Avengers level threats. And some X-men as well.

And really, the somewhat separation of mutant issues from other books wasn't a big issue until they started making mutant extinction a recurring theme of the X books. The Civil War X tie in was pretty funny, because it just happened after M Day.
