Elodie Yung is approximately 1000x more beautiful than Deborah Ann Woll, though imo.

I didn’t hate Captain America BNW. It was enjoyable enough. Not one of the better MCU films, but far from the worst for sure.

I especially enjoyed watching it in a theater where there was a lady in the front row who was really into the film. When Ross told Sam that he was “no Steve Rogers,” the lady yelled “oooooo. Damn!” Then when

A few thoughts as I continue my Daredevil marathon:

Season 2 was a mixed bag. The Punisher and his story was the highlight but I had a hard time getting into the stuff with the Hand. I found Elektra annoying but I think that was largely due to me rooting for Matt and Karen lol. Overall it was enjoyable albeit a clear step down from Season 1.

The Defenders was...okay. The Hand continued to be uninteresting to me. Keeping in mind that I have yet to see all the Netflix-Marvel stuff, the main standout to me was Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. I thought Mike Colter was good as Luke Cage and Finn Jones was fine as Iron Fist. I hope all three of them make the jump to the MCU-proper one day.

In short, I have to agree with the consensus regarding these two. I'll also need to make time to catch the Punisher's and Jessica Jones' solo series one of these days.

Onto DD Season 3 which sounds like its a return to form.

DDS3 is definitely a return to form.

And don't worry, The Hand were uninteresting to everyone.

Spicy hot take incoming: I'm not much of a fan of either Elektra. I never took Jennifer Garner seriously as the character (did anyone? ) and while Elodie Yung was a significant improvement, it's not like she made the Hand storyline in DD S2 all that much better.

Exploring both the rise of other vigilantes and the power vacuum left by the Kingpin would've been the more natural follow up to S1 IMO.
