For those of you who came late...

Some three or four years ago, i did a very popular thread about a mock cable channel from the Superhero Hype! family called the Superhero Hype! Channel, which was very popular around here. Version 2.0 of the SHHC is going to be chock full of classic superhero shows and theatrical movies every night. Plus, special new live-action newsmagazines about comics and heroes, and game shows dedicated to the genre. All new shows created and posted by me, unless otherwise indicated.

In the coming thread posts: I will gradually introduce theme days, similar to the stuff Sci-Fi Channel used to have back in the day. If anyone has any suggestions for future new or classic programs to be added, please post in this thread or PM me. Thanks:cwink:

So let's get this thing started, shall we?

God, I would love this. You should add Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel and Smallville.

i'm a newsmagzine cohost ?cool thanks kenny

I know the show has its flaws (PLENTY of them), but no love for Smallville on the schedule? You know, the longest running comic book show....like....ever?

Adventures of Superman, Spider-Man, Bionic Man, Batman, etc. Need to place them on somewhere:o

Yes to all of the above.

The first year of the mock channel's existence is broken into quarters (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall), which gives me a chance to add all of the shows you've listed in this thread.

And if think that I have forgotten about the weekend schedule, I haven't, because those days will be dedicated to both the Marvel and DC animated universes, as well as shortlived series that hadn't had a chance to shine, and Sunday interview segments with the voice actors and producers of those shows. Sort of like Turner Classic Movies' The Essentials with Robert Osborne, but with superheroes.

Superboy
X-Men: the animated series
Spider-man and his Amazing Friends
Transformers

SHH! Channel Late-Night Schedule - 2008-09

12:00am (if Mighty Movies do not run overtime) - RoboCop: the Series (winter quarter only.)

1:00am - Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Angel on Fridays. Moves to prime-time schedule in Spring quarter)

2:00am - Six Million Dollar Man (Bionic Woman on Fridays, moves to prime-time schedule in Spring quarter)

3:00am - Black Scorpion (Monday, Wednesday), Cleopatra 2525 (Tuesday, Thursday), Queen of Swords (Friday)

4:00am - Lone Ranger (Green Hornet on Fridays in winter quarter. Sense the Fran Striker connection here?)

5:00 - Tarzan (all live-action versions of the Edgar Rice Burroughs jungle hero.)

Superboy
X-Men: the animated series
Spider-man and his Amazing Friends
Transformers

Superboy, all Spider-Man series, and X-Men will be covered in SHHC's Superhero Saturday/Sunday Marvel and DC Segments.

Transformers is already covered as "Transformers Universe," which covers all generations of TF shows.
