Watching the special features on the blueray yet again, I can't help but notice how great the suit looks in natural light! The blue and red are so vibrant and look amazing. I probably wouldn't change much but I would'nt say no to the gold \S/ being added to the cape if they did decided to somehow make it work. Although the cape flows and looks graceful as it is plain red too in my opinion.

indeed. :cwink: I don't need major changes. I can deal few and minor changes you know because the "marketing" stuff
I want the yellow "S" on the cape but I think this aint gonna happen. because of the VFX.

That suit just pumps me up. It has an aurora around it, I swear. Snyder knocked it out of the park and into the river on that design. It screams superhero and manliness and the dominating "S" makes it feel important and serious. Love it.

Yeah the MOS suit is pretty great. I still feel that if they used the same materials, that the original belt and trunks could have looked great too.

Lol i was just looking at the suit for Superman Returns. What a piece of ****

Maybe it's just me, but I never saw the appeal in having an S symbol on the cape. I always thought it was redundant. He already has one on his chest so he doesn't need to beat it over people's head that he's Hopeman.

Yeah I don't think the suit needs it at all. I like the cape better when its solid red

the issue is that snyder and the vfx people find a way to put the yellow s to the cape not being difficult or deciding to put it on the cape.
I mean with the right colors it will look more majestic and badass.

I never liked it in any form of medium, including comics. I personally just like the classic blue-red colours as with no back symbol. I always thought it was redundant and looked out of place (with the exception of the Death of Superman picture, the images you posted make it look like the symbol is a sticker).

Brighter yellow on "belt/belt buckle" and a yellow S on the cape. That would be fine with me.

Or maybe just a more subtle, slightly darker red \S/ on the back of the cape. It would be there and could see it, but wouldn't detract too much from the cape itself.

Or even a slightly lighter \S/ for that matter. My point is subtlety with the cape logo.

I don't mind the cape-symbol, but I can't argue that it is really needed. Perhaps so that fighter pilots flying overhead see that he is a superhero and not an intercontinental missile? I dunno.

I really love the purpose-less all red cape. It so larger than life. It doesn't need an S. The cape S was one thing i never liked.

That's good, but I don't think the yellow \S/ works with that suit.

To me, adding the :super: screams of desperation to hold on to the past. That's the beautiful thing about the new MOS suit is it still has that classic feel with an updated, more modern take on the suit without taking away from the character of the past 75 years. IMO, these changes that are being made to the suit will be so subtle that they will be hard to see without actually looking for them. I may be completely wrong, but that's just what I think they will do.

Yeah. I love the yellow S on the costume, but they chose not to include it in the first film. Adding it now would just be silly.
