That was just a nod to the comics, because it was explained perfectly that he's not immortal when Bruce said, "or cheap parlor tricks to conceal your true identity". He's just showing off to Bruce that he tricked him, and he did.Right it had nothing to do with immortality, which is why Ra's used that exact word upon his return.
Do you truly believe that Ra's is immortal and possesses supernatural abilities in these movies?

its been known for about a year and shown just about everywhere but ya, its definately a nice touch. Really cool to compare this Bruce to how he was in Begins, it just really shows how many years this trilogy actually spans. I know there's a massive amount of jumping through the years but we're getting 3 movies of Bruce from age 9 to 39ish. 30 years of the mans life summed up the best they can. That's 30 years of anger, sadness, guilt..just a very dark and flawed guy. Before age 9 he was probably the happiest kid and hopefully by the time he turns 40, the character can move on and be happy like he was when he was a child. Whether he dies or lives for another forty years..im sure he'll find peace. It's EPIC
