Loved the new featurette but to be honest, I didn't really like the "sometimes a man rises from the darkness" line. Felt like we were going full circle to Begins a LITTLE but too much :p

You know, I'm convinced that Bruce will definitely fight someone, be they mercenaries or some other guys.

Agreed. Caine's acting made it just bearable. God Nolan. How many times are you gonna repeat the variations of "rise"?

I can't wait to see Tom Hardy with Bale. It's going to be amazing

Agreed. I've got to say, this looks even worse than "fear"... at least fear is a much more common word to use in everyday language and emotion people associate with a lot... not only is "Rises" in the title itself but it's hard to think that in a natural story by happenstance every character is going to use that word for some scene in a seperate context during that period of the saga.

Don't get me wrong, delivery has been great with all of them, but it doesn't stop it from on a surface level being way too *wink* *wink* IMO.

Has anyone posted the screencap of Bruce sitting at the computer in his Batsuit?

The way they have Batman say "Not yet." over the title card is so good. I wish they would've done that in the 3rd trailer.

Agreed! That would have been a very effective way to do it now that you mention it.

Is he knitting?

If he actually is knitting, then this film's ties to A Tale of Two Cities grow even stronger. In that novel, Madame Defarge is constantly knitting, and her knitting is actually a secret code to record the names of the people she plans to kill.

That said, I have no idea what's actually going on in that scene!

Nolan said in his Sci Fi interview that they're going to pay homage to that scene.

I don't mind humor bits ending trailers but this would've had so much more impact in the theater with the booming sound. Foreboding and epic.

Bane: "and then I said to him, 'they're going to expect someone in the wreckage brother'"

Merc's: lolololololol

"perhaps he's wondering why someone would shoot a man, before throwing him out of a plane" => he's belittling the CIA's militant tactics...i think thats humorous

"crashing this plane....with no survivors" the pause makes it humorous...because Bane says it as if the CIA wasnt sure what he meant by crashing the plane, as if it had to be clarified that he was about to die

"now's not the time for fear....that comes later" he reassures the doctor that he has nothing to worry about...atleast for now

all of these IMO are jokes...they show a sinister humor that is a part of Bane's nature.

I thought the featurette was bloated. I liked the behind the scenes footage and the technicality to pull off the epic sequences, I liked the new footage at the end; I however, did not enjoy the cast interviews that contained nothing we don't know, I didn't care for the mandetory director worship, I also found the use of music to accentuate the interviews overly dramatic. I do not know why people are losing their brains over this. I much preferred the various Inception featurettes. They were short, sweet, to the point.

Agreed. Definitely. it would have amplified the ominousness x 10. Kind of a shame, really.

Relax. Just be happy we got anything. TDK really missed out on featurettes like this.
