So it's interesting that the shoot in LA is almost as long as what was shot in Pittsburgh...NYC will probably have a few weekend too. I'm really liking the scope of this one, Nolan seems to be incorporating several cities together for Gotham, which is a good thing!

It's actually (surprisingly) even longer than the 'Burgh shoot. The 'Burgh shoot is less than a month while the LA shoot is almost 2 months.

I suppose NYC will be used for scenes of Batman on top of buildings brooding and all that. Hopefully we get to see an iconic rooftop chase scene between Batman and Catwoman although I suppose they'll do that inside the studio. We haven't really seen Batman 'outside' yet except for the CMU shoot and him inside the Batwing and I refuse to believe that we will not get at least one money shot of Batman on top of some iconic building.

All the spottings on Twitter in the Wollaton area at the general time they filmed that scene and on other days were of Anne Hathaway. I wish it was Marion, though that would mean we know even less of what Selina Kyle is supposed to be. Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter said one female role would be a love interest in the movie, and the other female role would be a villain. The script will have to explain why Tate doesn't kill Bruce Wayne right away (how about a sniper while Wayne walks out of a restaurant with one his bimbo girls) and instead pretends to be his friend in a very elaborate ruse. Is it just to siphon off his money for use by the League of Shadows or something else before

She stabs him at city hall? Or does Bane break his back? Or both? LOL Why does Batman not exist anymore according to the trailer?

I think either she'll try to convince him to stop being Batman by showing him the allure of just being Bruce Wayne and at the same time she's using WE's resources to fund the LoS.

At this point (where we see bits and pieces but still know very little), I still can't wrap my head as to why WE is involved in the first place in GCPD's activities. I understand if they're helping by consulting but they're actually in the field with them!

I just hope that if in fact Bruce has to leave for some reason (broken bad or badly hurt) then they at least show us what on earth he's doing in the meantime. I'd hate it if both Bruce and Batman is MIA for a good chunk of the movie.

I think everyone who knows the twist would be feeling that throughout the movie pre-reveal of Talia. Dammit Bruce! Don't fall for her! Fox! Nooo... Don't tell her that!

I saw the The Dark Knight not knowing Rachel was going to be Harvey Dent's girl and was very confused why she was last seen smooching with Bruce Wayne and the next movie she's with the new guy. I was like WTF! And then they changed the way her character was portrayed as well from Batman Begins. I'd have rather have known she'd died in advance of seeing the movie; would have made it better to watch the first time in the theater than I had.

The more interesting question to me would be is why is Bruce locked out of wayne manor and Where is Alfred? Golfing? Doubtful. Kidnapped? Perhaps.

Which could be why he turns to a high priced escort? no emotional attachments? Marion is trying to woo him (I think she just wants his DNA and a possibly his fortune) and he's still hurt by losing Rachel so he runs from Marion and into Selena's arms?

I'm sure there's going to be quite a bit of studio shooting but I'm (pleasantly) surprised that we're hearing a good number of outside shoots as well.

It was more a I-know-you've-been-dreaming-about-this-so-here-you-are-for-being-a-good-boy sort of kiss, nothing at all romantic. Before I knew Rachel was going to tell Bruce that she wasn't keen on a relationship with him while Batman was still around, I wondered at the lack of chemistry, but I guess right there is a good explanation. TBH, Begins might've been better off without that kiss completely. It was awkward and pointless. And would confuse people like yourself later on.

I wonder if Nolan will do a sequence like that or avoid it since it was in the Burton movie and instead come up with a different first meeting between Batman and Catwoman.

Your not the minority, im one that still has hope that the rumor she will have a cowl at some point in the film is true.

Definitely. It would be ridiculous for her not to have a cowl, even for nolan.
