i think the cane is somewhat of an Homage to Ra's though. I said a couple of weeks ago I think at some point Bruce will see himself in a mirror and realize how much he looks like Ra's al ghul and then realize how much he IS Ra's al Ghul and then he'll have to make a choice to who he's going to be.

Grey hair at the temples and a cane...not too unlike al Ghul, it would be a striking image

Agreed Rag  but was there any credit to the Neeson cameo rumor a few months back?

we dont know if its Bane. it could be a falshback when Bane was climbing out. now that we knwo that Bruce is in an underground prison there is a chance that Bruce is climbing out.

Definitely would make sense with all the "full circle" and Begins references everyone is talking about. Bruce falls down the well as a kid and rises out of the well for his last crusade. Nolan is too good at this.

Good point. I assumed it was Bane because of the coat/jacket that the person appears to be wearing in the teaser. Very well could make sense that it is Bruce crawling out.

I read the headline and decided the article was dumb. I understood everything he said just fine.

Talk about over-blowing a stupid complaint into a major headline.

we as fans dont count. we all read the descriptions. so our brain already knew the dialoge and added it when we watched the video.

Its seems like this film is going to really play up the gap between the rich and the poor that was somewhat showcased in Batman Begins. I can dig it.

Not everyone read it.
but i dont know which fan read it and which didnt.

we know that after the press screening a lot movie sites reported that it was hard to hear Bane. movie sites that are fair without trolling.

I saw it with people who didn't read it. They understood...most of it

I couldn't understand a lot of it actually and i was with a group of 8 who said the same thing. AND i read the transcripts and saw the bootlegs hahaha. We still all clapped because visually it was awesome but it was a shame the music and sound fx where over the dialogue.

Im thinking the audio mix wasn't final and had to be "rushed" to make the date. They would never say this but i just have a feeling that it was the case.

Things in the prologue audio wise definitely need to be sweetened....

i hate how modern blockbuster movies look. they all have forced digital colors.

the first pic is how it looks in TDKR. in the second how it looks in other movies.

less is more

maybe the leg injury is from TDK. maybe he has the cane at the beginning of the movie and thats why he is always using the batpod.
maybe he got so obsessed with batman(in the 8 years cleaning up gotham) that Bruce playboy didnt make a public appearence for months. thats why the press is asking him ''where have you been''.

speculation

God I love that shot. Just the notion of Batman finally fighting alongside the police with no misdirection, no cause for concern. "Here's the real threat! Now come with me!"

Wally's work looks marvelous yet again. You know, I liked his work on moneyball, i really think he's at his best when he works with Nolan

I've been thinking and I know it's all speculation, but what purpose does Bane have in imprisoning Batman (and the rich of Gotham according to some)? He wants Batman to see Gotham destroyed...he can't see that trapped in an underground prison. I think Bruce chooses to go to the "prison" to retrain, much like in Begins when he was fighting in jail.

whats great is that fisrt he is chased by the police but at the end they all fight together. the movie looks like it will have a big development for Batman,Gotham and police.

if Bruce goes to this underground prison then i hope he does it for Bane's research. i dont see any other reason for him to go to a prison. he could train outside with more freedom IMO
