Yes. And Ra's to a certain extent is another character in these films that allowed pain to define his life and the choices he made. He took a different route to Bruce, and he claimed to have dealt with that pain when talking to Bruce in BB but the fact of the matter is he is another example of a man driven to extremes as a result of a tragedy. If TDKR addresses the problem of how one allows pain to define themselves then this may be where the relation to the narrative lies.

Does this parallel what Bruce did to his home? Does this point to a hint that he may in fact be a League member who was burned by Bruce, now exacting his revenge, and finishing the work his mentor started? Is the flashback with Neeson to show Bane in the background while Bruce is in training?

I'll bet that Daggett & Sionis industries will have easter eggs during that stock market scene. Maybe Daggett and sionis will also be socialites at one of these gatherings.

It also makes me wonder then if Banes tumblers are just knock off versions made by Daggett industries that's why they have different weapons & no awesome batpod escapability

after the trailer I'm pretty sure he won't be. Gets destroyed in sewer where nobody but bane & mercs can see his face & then is probably taken to a far away prison by himself & dumped to rot while Bane has his fun.

I don't think that happens. I think the "prison" is in Gotham

Both Ra's and Bane are revenge motivated, Bruce more justice motivated. Selfish vs selfless.

Bane does seem very sadistic. I've heard he will beat people to death. He enjoys inflicting as much pain and fear as possible, yet he believes his cause noble

Pretty slanted view.

Does anyone believe Bane will kill Alfred or Lucius?

Another interesting question... If Batman has been out of the game for eight years, has Lucius been keeping the tech up to date just in case?

Oh, one more thing. Doesn't it look like Morgan Freeman is wearing a prosthetic hand in the set photos? Wonder if Bane will be doing some "small joint manipulation".
