It could very well be something of Bruce and Miranda's doing in terms of philanthropy ideas or causes to get Bruce deeper in the main stream; I can see him pulling a BB hotel stunt and buy out the entire team.

I'm not a sports fan of any sort either, but if there's going to be some football scene it's going to be minimal and based on Bruce Wayne's playboy character.

It's not like Nolan is recreating 'Any Given Sunday' here, the focus on the football game will be small.
