Oh yeah, the NY critics are going to slaughter this movie. They hate Nolan.
Didn't most of them see it already? With a very positive reception
Well wsj flipped so...its a promising start
I've never even heard of the guy who gave the movie it's first negative review...
*Insert Thor flipping table Gif.*
Interestingly enough, their critic recently rewatched BB and TDK and admitted that he liked them more the second time around. Seems like he is more open to liking TDKR than he might have been:
There is always risk of that type of incident. However, the people around here act fast and if someone does do that it will be taken care of quickly. I wouldnt worry too much about it.
How many reviews do we have?
Around 50 so far?
I usually don't guess RT ratings, because it is always hard to tell no matter how much we think one way or another. But I figure it will get from a 88%-94%
Inception was a sci-fi with so many layers, sci-fi can easily turn off lots of people it can be a dividing genre just look at it's past. Not always but lots.
If we have around 50 reviews, and 3 negative, that is no way that it is going worse then TDK. With TDK the slew of bad reviews came down the pipe line later. I think it will be hard to beat it's rating of TDK, mainly because people are now judging this film a lot harsher then TDK, since TDK really upped the bar and Inception people are even more critical of Nolan's films. And kinda like Inception you always wonder if there are the sensationalist just giving negative reviews down the road just to mess with the score. So I could see a few more negative reviews that TDK.
But if this has 280 reviews or so like TDK, and we have 3 negative I could see it going up to 20-25 negative reviews. But again a lot of this is pure guess work on all our parts.
But either or it seems like this is another great film. And finally we have a great super hero trilogy.
Full review count:
Thats basically a 92 on RT
I find this with all Nolan films. I always enjoy them so much more on my second viewing, The Prestige, TDK and Inception were all like this for me. The first time I liked them, but once more soaked in with the layers of story he has, I loved them so much more on further viewings.
Who are the other 2 negs?
The reviews for The Wall Street Journal, Empire and Total are not on RT yet. So it's more like 35 Positives.
Empire and Total Film are on RT, they have been from the start, amongs the first ones.
List includes those
It's weird, I don't see them. I can see them on Metacritic but not on RT.
Another positive review in on RT.
You're probably just looking at the cover page, Top Critics/Regular Critics get bumped as new ones roll in.
Yeah, you're right, I just saw them
Damn it that one AP Review has a huge replay value its used by alot of publications
Yep, her review will be syndicated all over the place.
Well, The Associated Press is a news agency.
Josh Dickey (Variety's film editor) thinks "Ledger made the entire reboot fly". Huh. I didn't know Heath was also in Batman Begins.
