It is a shame, because he is an excellent actor.

Definitely. It's amazing how great he is in both comedic and serious roles.

But maybe he's not interested in being in movies anymore?

Fincher and Bale.... that would be verrryyyyyy interesting.

As long as there are robots!

If that's that Blake/Wayne music vid, yeah that's funny.

I think some people nitpick because it was the last of the trilogy, and many movies that are last in the trilogy tend to disappointment; therefore, many already went in to watch this movie with negative thoughts.

Quite the contrary...I think a lot of people expected it to be amazing or something that was beyond belief...and they felt it was just good or very good, which is disappointing in comparison to what they expected.

I don't think they went in with negative thoughts so much as a very specific expectation for what they thought would/should happen. When certain parts turn out differently, I think it seats unrest and results in deeper dissection/nitpicking.

Personally, the movie turned out more or less how I thought it would be and I found it very satisfying on numerous levels. Perfect? No, but my personal favorite of the trilogy.

This happens with many trilogies. The first movie is a pleasant surprise, the second movie is bigger and better in so many ways, and by the time you reach the third film people are expecting the same leap and improvement from the 2nd film as the 2nd had over the first.

Storyboard with Bane's original mask. Much, much better. I wish they went with this, it actually looks like Bane.

I don't remember what it looks like exactly but this is pretty much the only one that's been released online.

After watching TDKR three times, it grows more emotional for me each time.

When I watched this a few minutes ago, I actually lost it; I'm still kind of sobbing. :csad:

No he doesn't. Arguably his two best films don't have anything to do with Bale.
Quite the contrary IMO. Two of Nolan's best movies have Bale in them. TDK and the Prestige :woot:

Regarding DiCaprio, I think Nolan said he's a demanding performer, and has his own vision for the character he plays. This made me think that maybe Nolan and DiCaprio wouldn't mesh on future projects since Nolan has such a strong vision for a lot of elements regarding his films. Unlike Bale who's been said to take direction better in terms of the director's vision of the characters.
