I hear so much flack regarding this scene, but I love it. And Batman's line was needed, imo, because it's something the viewer would think/say as well. Really adds to it.

But how did she do it? I mean, Batman can glide off of a rooftop, but Catwoman doesn't have a cape. Is she hanging off the side of the building hoping he'll hurry up and leave?

Lol...I keep picturing the moment in Spider-Man when Peter stays out of his apartment while Harry, MJ, May and Norman are there, but it's just Catwoman trying to stay out of sight for Batman to leave.

Oh and I wasn't sure if I posted it here specifically but here's something I made.

This is just fantastic. Never really noticed the 'Begin' one by Ra's that much, but man...that's excellent to think those nods were in all three films.

One thing I wish they brought from Year One into Begins (which I hope we'll see in the future) was the way Bruce uses make-up and wigs to disguise himself.

He sorta is in disguise when he's wearing that hoodie by the payphones watching Rachel and Finch.

I've seen Begins at least 20 times and I didn't even notice that part until I did a marathon last month. It was one thing I was hoping to see (disguised Bruce) and I couldn't believe I had missed it.

Hey, you're right! It's not make-up or wigs, but I suppose I owe that bit some credit. I loved it the first time I saw it in the theater, so it's weird how it's sort of slipped my radar since.

Also, I find it funny how we have Mr. Finch in Begins and Mr. Reese in The Dark Knight then Jonathan Nolan goes to write Person of Interest and names the main characters Mr. Finch and Mr. Reese. Actually, there are a lot of Batman nods on that show.

Ummmmmm.....so thoughts on El Mayimbe's scoop? I know we have to take everything with a grain of salt at this point...but the implications are pretty Earth shattering at the moment.

Edit: Beat me to it JackWhite lol. This is just too much for me to process right now.

I wouldn't trust El Mayimbe with any news.

lol, you have no idea. I was getting ready to go to bed and stumbled upon this news. I'm not even really interested in TJL film, but if Bale might be on board....Oh Lordy!

The thing that is blowing my mind the most right now is the possibility that in only 4 months....we will be getting a Superman film that is IN CONTINUITY with the TDK trilogy.

Jesus Christ.

I'll just quote what I said at the JL thread. :funny:

Ah, thanks!

I highly doubt that it's true but I suppose that's the easiest way I can see a 2015 JL movie to happen. I can't complain about that rumor. I've always been on the camp that they start fresh and get a new Batman but if they absolutely have to tie JL with the Nolanverse then Batman has to be Bruce Wayne (Bale) so I'd take that over the JGL as Batman one which I absolutely hate with passion. :oldrazz:

I'm still 99.99% sure that Bale will not be back. Nolan godfathering DCU might be true though.

Plus I don't want my head cannon of Bruce and Selina making BatCat babies in Italy ruined. :o

If Nolan is really Godfathering the project then the chances of Bale returning goes up by a small margin.

-I'm Batman, but now I retire, but now I'm Batman again, but now I really retire, I even get a statue suckas.....oh wait, Superman is around, now I'm Batman again!

:hmm

I'd say it goes up by a fairly significant margin. He's even said he wouldn't be opposed to doing a fourth movie if there was a story there.

I still can't even put my thoughts together. This is extremely exciting but extremely scary at the same time.

Can't they easily push the timeline back a decade, say when Bruce was in his prime during TDK? I think that's an easy hurdle.

lol, I know. I'm going to just relax and not get too psyched up until we hear something concrete.

I don't think so, unless there is a very lazy Superman, that doesn't help out Gotham when there's a friggin nuke in town. :woot:

Wait a second! Maybe that's how Batman survived the nuke within 5 seconds of detonation? Science!

Great. Now I have this image of Batman saying that while plucking the petals of a flower a la "he loves me, he loves me not". :argh:

Yeah, I agree, this "news" is very iffy indeed. Why would Bale's Bruce Wayne go through so much trouble to basically stage his death (his and Batman's), abandon his entire identity as Bruce Wayne, flee the country, and start a brand new normal life, just to be Batman again in a very public hero league? Everyone in Gotham will be scratching their heads. It just doesn't make any sense. The only thing I can think of is if Bale's Bruce is taking the Batman Incorporated approach (multiple Batmen), but even there he can bring in anyone else to fill in the Dark Knight's shoes exclusively for the Justice League. Yeah, I just can't see this happening.

I, for one, hope that does not end up being the case. The Dark Knight Trilogy should stand alone.

He might not be Batman, but more of a mentor type like Batman Beyond with Blake as the new Batman. I wouldn't mind seeing that, although its not really the direction I'd take it.
