It's the Republican Party's secret weapon: invent a problem so that they can be the people to solve it.

You have to understand that the Democrats in Congress are old. And technologically illiterate. Its why far too many of them support measures that would allow a republican to essentially ban LGBTQ content on the internet.

Hmm I'm not sure how I feel about this. But lots of content creators I watch on Tiktok are based from America. So it is going to be weird seeing them not post new videos there. YouTube and Instagram are still out there, which I still use more than TikTok, especially those are in my virtual system longer. But IG/YT also have different purposes for me.

If TikTok is such a great social media tool then why does no one know about the human rights abuses of the CCP?

Influencers care more about money and clout than silly things like human rights and ethics.

Can't say I care about them losing their influence regardless of TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, etc. Outside the few genuine people who are trying to educate, most of them are just looking for attention and don't care about abuse that makes TikTok or Shein or Temu work.
