I haven't seen nothing about tobe in here yet,for me he's a master of horror, alongside Carpenter,Craven, barker and others. This will be the thread to talk about Tobe hooper and his films.

Lets say texas chainsaw massacre, poltergeist, and one that has been underrated, the funhouse, among other films.

Which of his movies is your favorite and why?
I think that many horror directors are well talked about, but somehow one of the greatest is just barely mentioned. Of course you can post pics of his movies (BTS) posters etc. whatever you want.

TCM stomps all over Halloween in quality and influence.

It inspired more great movies than any other single film ever made.

I love Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, but I haven't seen the first TCM movie in a little over 15 years or more but I have the new dvd of TCM on order so I will get to watch it more often.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is easily one of the best horror movies ever made. Definitly in the top 5...and high on that list at that. The remake made me want to slit throats.
