The Ultimate College Football Thread!!!!!!!!! OMG - - Part 2

I was pretty happy the Cornhuskers defeated a terrible BoilerMakers team in Purdue resulting in Nebraska finishing September winning most of their games. It is achievable that Nebraska could become bowl-eligible before Halloween day.

As most expected the Georgia Alabama game was an amazing thriller. Alabama dominated the first half in what was very undramatic when Alabama scored 4 touchdowns in their first four possessions, also they were able to score with a safety.
Georgia showed the character of fearless and resilient in overcoming the highest deficit resulting in them taking the lead in the late 4th Quarter which was very short-lived.
Alabama scored a game-winning td because 2 Georgia defenders made mistakes after a completed pass, and because the Alabama WR turned on the Jets. Also, Alabama proving they can rely on their defense were able to get an interception in the end zone.

For the Deboer-era Alabama team, this was a huge statement win ending the long regular season that Georgia had, also Georgia was a slight favorite in Alabama which for Alabama gave them a lot of bulletin board material even if it was just a slight spread favoring Georgia.

The final 2 minutes were thrilling and unforgettable.

While Michigan has defeated Washington the last 3 times they've played, however the last 2 times that Michigan played Washington in Husky Stadium it was Washington that howled victorious.
Washington has had growing pains because of miscues vs Rutgers, and Washington State, also they've been unable to finish drives resulting in settling for field goals. I'm hopeful Washington won't continue to have those same glaring flaws vs Michigan tonight in Husky Stadium.

I predict Washington will succeed in playing their best to defeat Michigan in a thrilling close game. Washington protects the football, Washingon makes fewer mistakes, and Washington finishes drives by scoring touchdowns.
Washington 31
Michigan 24

I am a realistic Nebraska fan which is why I'm hopeful that Nebraska finds ways to defeat a pretty good undefeated Rutgers team, however I'm fearful of the realistic disappointment because Nebraska wasn't able to execute critical great plays vs Illinois in a thrilling close game while Illinois executed critical clutch plays resulting in Illinois emerging victorious.

College Football Week 6 was an amazing week because multiple upsets happened on the first October Saturday during the Halloween season.

I know it's not the National Championship, except I'm thrilled as a Huskies fan that the Huskies outplayed the top 10 ranked Wolverines in a memorable thrilling close game in Husky Stadium.
The Huskies ended the three-game losing streak to the Wolverines, and they extended their winning streak to 4 over the Wolverines for the past 4 games played in Husky Stadium.
It was satisfying that all of the College GameDay crew picked the Wolverines to prevail because that backfired in a game where the Huskies had less turnovers, the Huskies defense created turnovers, and the Huskies offense highly thrived by finishing drives with scoring 3 touchdowns along with they made 2 field goals.
It was excellent that after the disappointing struggles vs the WS Cougars and Scarlet Knights, the Huskies found ways to improve by prospering during the adversity of a competitive game resulting in them prevailing 27-17 vs the Wolverines.

I’m sharing this picture I took yesterday simply because the big screen happened to say goo :hehe:

Our quarterback didn’t play a great game, but my God Almighty, the referees were atrocious from start to finish. There’s probably a bounty on their heads as we speak

:barf:

It is not surprising that Georgia beat Florida, but it is surprising that Carson Beck is having so much turnover trouble, he sure needs to fix that.

It is also not surprising that Ohio State beat Penn State, despite the media constantly hailing the Nittany Lions as the next big power in football. Despite all the hype, James Franklin is 1-13 against top five teams.

As a realistic Washington Huskies fan I'm expecting the Nittany Lions to outplay the Huskies because they need the rebound win after failing to defeat Ohio State despite keeping it close.
Washington is playing with motivation to prove the doubters wrong, so it won't be surprising if Washington keeps it close. I won't be shocked if Washington succeeds with the upset because the law of averages favors Washington finally breaking through to win a road game this season instead of another fruitless performance of keeping it close, however failing to finish to win the road game.

Alabama at LSU
It's a very anticipated night game because it's an elimination game since it's very unlikely a team reaches the 12-team playoffs with 3 losses.

Hit the panic button for the Gators brigade because the Longhorns have made them an utter joke since they are winning 35-0 at halftime.
It would be a satisfying accomplishment if the Gators avoid getting shut-out because they can't realistically succeed with an incredible comeback.

Priceless that this dumpster fire for the Gators in Texas after the whole information that Coach Napier doesn't have to worry about his job.

Mississippi State At Tennessee
As a realistic Vols I won't be surprised if the Vols as usual have a great second half for scoring. Also, I'm not fearful of Any Given Saturday because it's in Rocky Top, not Mississippi.

I'm hopeful that the Vols can rebound from the disappointing loss to a solid UG Bulldogs team because they play the El Paso Miners in Rocky Top so most likely they'll bulldoze this team, and remove all suspense from this huge mismatch in the first half.

Indiana at Ohio State
I predict Indiana sees the bitter disappointment of defeat today because Ohio State makes fewer mistakes, and Ohio State having the home crowd advantage is not an obstacle Indiana can overcome to win a thrilling competitive game.
The ESPN Reporter Gary Striewski who is an Indiana football fan will be very disappointed because Indiana won't be able to achieve an undefeated regular season.

I'm hoping that Nebraska ends the losing streak today by playing slightly better than Wisconsin including making fewer mistakes and executing more clutch plays to win a competitive game. Nebraska becoming bowl-eligible with a win today removes the pressure of having to defeat Iowa since they won a 6th game to become bowl-eligible before playing Iowa.

I'm pretty damn happy that my Volunteers demolished the Miners in an entertaining embarrassment. This was entirely expected after that very disappointing result last week in Georgia, and because the Miners had no realistic chance of winning this colossal mismatch.

Kansas continues to succeed as a spoiler since they outplayed a good Colorado team, and they rocked the Superman colored Jerseys of Blue Jerseys and Red Pants which is a very smooth combo that shows off those 2 Superman colors.

Also, it was excellent that the Cornhuskers ended the losing streak by outplaying the Badgers in a game that quit having suspense becuase the Cornhuskers offense was an onslaught.
The Cornhuskers became bowl-eligible for the first time since 2016 so the Cornhuskers fans were entirely justified and not overreacting to this incredible emotional win since this was after 7 consecutive seasons of failing to become bowl-eligible.

Ohio State made Indiana a pawn since they made the game an embarrassment in the second half. While Indiana still has a realistic chance of reaching the 12-team playoffs, except most likely Coach Cignetti regrets his WWE-style trash-talking by publicly stating Michigan Sucks, Ohio State sucks, etc.
I was very frustrated that Nebraska and Washington both failed to defeat Indiana, so I was very thrilled to see Indiana see the misery of an embarrassing defeat when Ohio State made them a pathetic hapless jabroni in the second half even though the huge miscues began in the 1st half.
Indiana continues to be the jabroni that Ohio State owns in College Football.

A Head Coach can get the fans excited for a season without that WWE-style trash talk aka fighting words that will most likely always be used as bulletin board material by other teams that are insulted with no ambiguity those are fighting words.
That was in the same league of not smart as Willie BeeMan in Any Given Sunday running his mouth before the Sharks got embarrassed by a team during a rainy night.

It is not surprising that the letters are so big because it is on a really big screen.
But even for a really big screen, the letters should not be SO BIG. It should be able to show "GOODYEAR" or "GOODBYE", but I'm disappointed the screen didn't say "EAR". I think it's clear that would have been more satisfying; not to mention funny.....but, as we all know, "GOO" is good and maybe even short for it

I dragged in at 4 AM. My voice may never return, my ears may never stop ringing. After the loudest most insane, crazy wild nutty game I’ve ever seen with my own eyes, followed by a late night trip to Waffle House, it was a Friday night to remember in Athens.

Michigan at Ohio State… Arizona State at Arizona…South Carolina at Clemson…… NC State at North Carolina… All of them heard let’s get ready to rumble!

It's looking possible that Bill Belichick aka the Man with the personality of a rock, and a man known for wearing sleeveless hoodies could be the North Carolina Head Coach.

Cam a shown Georgia Bulldogs football fan seriously said Bulldogs by 90 which is ridiculous because Texas isn't a pushover, yes it's in Atlanta so home-field advantage for Georgia, however, Texas will be very motivated to keep a competitive game since Georgia bulldozed Texas in a regular season game, and Texas is not intimidated by Georgia.
Georgia will not win by 90 today vs Texas so that was writing a completely unrealistic check that is a colossal pipe dream.

The pressure is on Penn State to win a high-stakes game since they failed to prevail vs a solid Ohio State team despite keeping it an entertaining close game.
Oregon is a Royal Flush much like the 2010 Oregon team that reached a National Championship game, that is why I'm predicting Oregon executes more great plays in an entertaining competitive game.

If Penn State really has improved after the disappointing defeat to a solid Ohio State team, then they'll find a way to upset Oregon instead of just remaining in the common fruitless area of keeping the game close vs. a heavyweight team. However, they failed to close.
Dillon Gabriel is similar to Marcus Mariota, so realistically, he can be a solid dual threat that is too much for the Nittany Lions to overcome today. It's achievable for the Nittany Lions to keep it a close game, and there is a realistic chance of them upsetting Oregon in the fourth Quarter.

It's looking possible that Bill Belichick aka the Man with the personality of a rock, and a man known for wearing sleeveless hoodies could be the North Carolina Head Coach.
He may just wait until a coach is fired in the NFL towards the end of this month and try to get a job with one of those teams instead.

My neighbors probably thought something else was going on at my place, when they heard me yelling yes yes yes! :hehe:
