Character You Would Like To Play: Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor

Basic History Of The Character: Born to a poor family in suicide slum, Alexander Luthor's genius was discovered at an early age. His father, a charlatan and failed businessman who liked tom pretend he was a big important person, used Alexander to attain a station of power and wealth, turning his failed electronics company into Luthorcorp, a booming conglomerate. When Alexander's mother, the only person who ever really cared about him, died, he was left at the mercy of his father. Eventually, Alexander couldn't take it. At 20, he killed his father, made it look like an accident, and collected on the insurance. He then shaved his head bald and started going by the name Lex. Ten years later, he is one of the richest men in the world, and his nickname is "the brains behind America". He has major ties to terrorism and organized crime, which he sells weapons to. This gives him resources an influence that would otherwise be denied to him. He uses illegal human testing and other such methods to stay ahead of the competition. This has led to numerous deaths, and the occasional metahuman. He simply sees it as "breaking a few eggs to make an omlette”.

Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:

1. A long time ago, I honestly didn’t think much of Luthor, I just thought he was a guy in a suit who didn’t have the strength to touch the man of steel. Obviously I saw the error of my ways and now I consider him one of DC’s, if not comic’s best villains.

2. I’ve never had the chance to play him before, so I have a lot of ideas on what I can do with him.

3. As shown with Ra’s in “World Of Heroes”, I like playing a character who is sophisticated and I think I can give him some real depth.

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person: More than anything I want to show his humanity. Why he does what he does, what he hopes to accomplice for himself.

Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): Well I always plan out what I’m going to do with a character first so their journey in the RPG seems natural and I just love creating idea’s of my own that other writers have never thought of. Secondly I want to create and ingaging arc's that makes you just want to read more.

Character You Would Like To Play: Human Bomb

Basic History Of The Character: The original Human Bomb was Roy Lincoln a scientist working with his father on a special explosive chemical called "27-QRX." When Nazi spies invaded his lab and killed his father, he resorted to ingesting the chemical to prevent it from falling into their hands. As a result, Lincoln gained the ability to cause explosions in any object he came into contact with.

My Ultimate Human Bomb: A female suicide bomber attacks a US truck convoy in Afghanistan. She detonates her explosives; five soldiers are killed and more soldiers and civilians are wounded. When the smoke clears there’s a soot-covered woman standing in the smoking crater. Both she and the soldiers are astonished so see that she has survived the explosion apparently unharmed. When the surviving soldiers move to apprehend her they discover that the woman explodes on contact. She runs off into the countryside. The earth explodes under her bare feet with every step. The soldiers open fire; their bullets explode harmlessly on contact with her back. She disappears into the hills.

Eventually a covert US government force apprehends her in the mountainous country. She’s exhausted and confused. She’s studied by a clandestine team of top scientist who discover that somehow her standard explosives reacted with a unique, but dormant, property in her biological makeup resulting in the ability to explode any object she comes into contact with. The blast also wiped out all of her memories as well. She can’t recall any specific details about her life. She can’t understand her motivations for her suicide attack. She only remembers her name: Safia. The US government offers her a choice, work for them in debt of the soldiers she killed and wounded or remained imprisoned for life. Donning the burka, the garb of her country’s women and a safeguard against her powers, Safia agrees to the work for the US government in exchange for her life.

1. I think I’ve put a unique twist on an old character.

2. I think this character is relevant to our times.

3. She’s not another middle-aged white male superhero.

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person: I plan on exploring her first steps into the world of a covert government-run meta. She’ll be finding out who she is (and who she was) along the way - and no doubt coming into explosive contact with any heroes and villains that stand in the way of her mission.

What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): I’ll have no trouble posting a few times a week and adding some twists and turns to the story.

Character You Would Like To Play: The Flash (Barry Allen)

Basic History Of The Character: While a student at Keystone State University, Barry was working on his final chemistry project; a serum that would increase reaction time and alertness, much like a highly potent energy drink. He was having no luck and was about to chalk it up to a failure, when his lab got struck by lightning. In addition to frying his notes completely, the lightning destroyed his working sample and put Barry in a coma. When he woke up weeks later, he found that he had been instilled with superspeed, but could no longer remember the steps to making his serum to mass produce it. Taking after his favorite member of the old Justice Society comics, he became the Flash.

Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:

1. I've always liked the Flash's and have some interesting ideas for the character.

2. It should be fun to mess around with someone who just found out he can move at superspeeds.

3. I like the fresh start approach of this RPG.

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person: Well I really plan to play him alot like if I just somehow got superspeed. Pretty selfish at first and selfless later.

Well, people seem to like my portrayal of Arsenal in the DC RPG, so I would like to think I am a good roleplayer. I can also add a touch of light heartedness, as I crack jokes that may or may not be funny.

Character You Would Like To Play: Deathstroke

Basic History Of The Character: Slade Wilson began working for the government at age 18. He became one of the most respected combatants in the military because of his skills. Born with an enhanced healing factor as well as enhanced strength and agility. He is also one of the most billiant tactical minds on the planet because of his advanced mental capacity. He left the military after uncovering a plot to test ways to copy his own DNA and mass produce super soldiers. He has been able to avoid them, always being a step ahead. At first Slade had trouble finding work that he could use his skills in. Until he was approached by a man who ask him to kill someone. Slade took the the job and has been working as a mercenary ever since. But Slade still has a sense of morality and will only take a job if the person deserves it. He does not kill innocents or children.

Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:

1. I think I can play the role of a mercenary pretty well.

2. I can use Deathstroke to fight on both sides of the law.

3. I want to see how I can change Deathstroke in the ultimate universe while keeping him somewhat the same. He's going to be a badass just like he is in the regular DCU.

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person: I plan to have Deathstroke start out in the middle of the hero and villian scale. Then have some events shift him more to one side of the law. Which side you'll have to wait and see.

But, my opinion... You're good at playing psychopaths... and The Joker is the ULTIMATE psychopath. I'm interested to see what you'd do with him.
