Warner Bros. Pictures has launched the official website for 300, based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller (Sin City). The site features production Blogs from director Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead) and concept art, with video journals coming soon.

The film stars Gerard Butler (Phantom of the Opera), Lena Headey (The Brothers Grimm), David Wenham ("The Lord of the Rings" trilogy), Vincent Regan (Troy), Rodrigo Santoro (Love Actually) and Dominic West (The Forgotten).

Click here to read Snyder's first Blog, the synopsis and to view artwork.

Wow. The FX looks SO much better than i expected. Except maybe in the first shot (which is unfinished, i know, that's why that roof didn't appear).

Yea,Frank Miller has outdone himself agian. Has there been a rumor about what month this is coming out?

Nope, so far 2006 only

And i didn't know Miller was involved in this one. Thought he was writing Sin City 2 or something.

well officially he's not. But Sin City 2 is filming in January for a summer release,So I wander when 300 comes out, possible april?

So do you think this movie will do what Troy, King Arthur, and Alexander weren't able to do, succeed at the box office?

Well, it cost cheaper than those, so it has a better chance.

If I remember correctly the budget was 60million.So yea it should easily make more.

WHY AM I MAD AT YOU?

AND IT IS THE WRONG FORUM.

Where is this supposed to Go, DrDoom?

IT'S A COMIC BOOK, IT SHOULD GO IN THE MISC. COMIC MOVIES FORUM

I just went to the site and saw some of the stuff. It looks amazing. And I was wondering, what is the budget of this movie?

They have a nice comic-to-film comparison in the "Concept art" section. They used the same approach Miller and Rodriguez used in Sin City.

yea,but how many people go to that forum, plus this is a good place to have it.

I expect the teaser to be out soon, hopefully.

Im looking forward to the video journals. Does anyone know what this films rating go to be? R,probably but just wandering.

I hope it's R. I like my epics to be brutal and bloody, and this has to be one of the bloodiest.

although Frank Miller is not directly involved, he is still the producer (it's on the site), so he'll put in input if he has to.
