Palemonster did say that the movie ends with Superman's heart beating while he's in his coffin. If the movie is going to end with the reveal that Superman is alive, then I don't think Justice League is going to be a Search for Spock movie. And the Justice League concept art from the CW special showed Superman in the lineup.

Exactly. A quick scene in present day at the end of the WW film with him being resurrected and reunited with WW, and you're good to go with JL.

But then that would mean that we'd have to wait for JL 2 before Clark could actually develop some type of relationship with his crew members, sans Bruce and Diana.

I'd be fine with that, it's hard to do these team up movies as it is so to leave some stuff for JL2 I think would be fine. I think given the vision Batman sees in BvS, a mind controlled/mind averted Superman led attack on Earth with Parademons is very likely.

Plus, I don't think we really need to see Batman v Superman: Round 2, with Superman being controlled this time.

It wouldn't be though it would be Superman vs the League. It's possible some threads from JL mortal would carry over same as some elements of Flyby carried over to MOS. Superman vs Wonder Woman would be a hell of a sight to see.

My ideal scenario would just have Superman returning as early as Han Solo did in ROTJ or even Thor in "TA".

That's a possibility and could work, but I guess we'd have to see. I stil hope WW sees Supes in a vision on the WW solo film and that's when she realise he isn't dead. I can see if he's back early in the film that his arc will play on coming back from the dead and how he has to deal with that.

End of the day though we don't know what will happen in JL but we do know Cavill wil be in it so let's try not to panic.

Honestly, it would be the easiest thing to have Superman burst out of his coffin. As long as he doesn't have a stupid mullet, we're set.

At least if he did people might stop going on about Cavill's receding hairline :funny:

What if he busts out the coffin and it turns out to be

Not excited about the stuff the AMA guy described. All of it sounds bad, imo.

He could be lying.

Falseprophet and tacit said it best  Easy and simple boom.

The one thing that I wish was different, from the synopsis that we were given, is Superman's motivation for taking on Batman. I was actually hoping that Superman's confrontation with Batman in their final fight against each other would be because of Superman believing that he has to bring in Batman no matter what due to him being dangerous....as opposed to Superman being forced by Lex to do so because of his mother.

I agree, herolee, to an extent. Although I'm more bothered by the knightmare info...seems choppier than I expected.

Hopefully, the Ultimate Edition will flesh out stuff that's not developed properly.

There's no way the Knightmare scene is that short. Zack recently said in an interview with Kevin from Fox that there is a huge fight scene that is one shot. There's more to it. Also the Flash coming through a portal into the Batcave... and then the movie dismissing it and going on like it never happened. That's the part that I think is sketchy

I think so, I definitely think pale's review is on point
Hey I just had a thought, Superman resurrection toys :woot:

Jack-in-the-box superman coffins, with him popping out! I'd buy one!!

Exactly---this is really the part of the moviie that, if true, is gonna bug me. Why have the knightmare if it's meaningless? I suppose it could continue in JL, but still....

The AMA Reddit guy seems legit, sad to say. I tried to call him out on a detail that PaleMonster didn't mention, but the guy stuck to his claim. He claimed Flash appears through a portal in the Batcave, while Pale said Flash appears in the knightmare. About an hour after I argued with the Reddit guy, PaleMonster posted again and made a correction about what he meant regarding the Flash's appearance, and it lined up with what AMA guy said.
