My Three Musketeers thoughts/rambles, 1/5 stars:

This movie is amazing, it's so ridiciously bad, it becomes an entertainment itself and it utterly inspired me, the general plot of the movie is this, it's about the queen needing the cock of the king, to ensure no war between france and england would come, thats what makes this movie so utterly genius that i must do nothing but praise to it. Paul W. Anderson has managed to make the perfect 3 musketeers for the Twilight generation, but spoilers: The war will still happens, because sequel baby! Sadly this marks the 1st movie i feel Christopher Waltz just cashed in, and that disappoints me. Luckily Orlando Bloom makes the career of his life, no longer the silent badass Legolas archer, he is now Elvis Presley with an outrageous moustache and charisma, he is the epitome of sillyness and not-sure-if-serious villains, truly marvelous. Milla Jovovich is really entertaining here, she is badass, sexy and charismatic villainess, oh and the action scenes are utterly inspired by Zack Snyder, it's as if Anderson watched 300 and thought "this is how action is done!" and went to copy the same style almost. As you can see dear reader, i barely mention the three musketeers because they are plot devices in the movie, yes the titled characters are merely just advancing the plot as the main heroes are the king, queen, the "4th" musketeers and his girl he fell in love, this movie is about these 4 wanting to bone each other, and the musketeers serving their country to make it happen so, this is utterly beatiful and amazing. Oh and the music seemed to be very Hans Zimmer inspired from scene to scene at times. Truly inspirational.

Amazing movie, go see it people and be entertained. Oh yeah, 3D is pointless.

In fairness, the 4th Musketeer is kinda supposed to be the main character in The Three Musketeers. Hell, D'Artagnan is the only character whose name I can ever remember, and his name is spelled ridiculously (like all French words).

Anyways, I've played through the [BLACKOUT]Solomon Grundy, Ra's and Freeze[/BLACKOUT] boss fights and I've got to say that Rocksteady really addressed a lot of issues with them. They don't seem so much as "boss sequences" as they did in Arkham Asylum which is great. The combat system is awesome but I'm am really hating myself for not getting the Critical Strike timing right.

Oh, and next month is really going to be great for gaming:
-Skyrim
-Uncharted 3
-Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (maybe)
-Assassin's Creed Revelations (possibly)
-WWE 12 (BIG maybe)

I might need to starve throughout November or raid the office pantry anytime I get. AC:R is big on my list because I really want to play as Altair again, hopefully with an updated world of the Holy Land. I know it's Ezio's story thus far but I think Altair is still a lot more interesting.

Some thoughts about Arkham

Spoiler

-Dropping from the sky and taking out 50 guys will always feel satisfying.

-They really should have saved the Ra's reveal and fight until the end of the game. It felt cheapen when they kept hinting at a Strange's mysterious benefactor and it turns out it was already someone we fought and defeated. Also, Strange knowing Batman's identity felt wasted. It was a plot point that kind of just sat there.

-After this I feel all the classic villains have been exhausted. It's time to bring in the new blood. It's time for the Black Glove to close around the Arkhamverse. Leave the Joker, Ra's, and Strange dead.
