Arrested Development is so overrated. Sure its funny but I have been able to live on without it. Now, if you want to talk about shows gone too soon, I still miss Martin.

Never seen AD but I can guarantee it's not as good as Martin.

i like martin too, but i think you guys are looking at it through the nostalgia lens. think about the show martin would be now...modestly successful middle class late 40's dj lives in the suburbs. has boring suburb friends.

See, look at the instant reaction I get for that comment. It's ridiculous the level of worship that show gets. It just makes me want to troll harder.:o
speaking of which, i just said that arkham city sucks on the batboards. waiting for reaction

Extremely wrong statements deserve extremely strong reactions. :o

I just wanted a reason to use the Red Skull video. I don't care what you do or don't like.

But that show died internally. Turns out Tisha Campbell couldn't stand Martin Lawrence's guts. Didn't you notice that a good portion of the final season had Martin & Gina separated?

Now, I saw that and immidiately thought, Sean Penn, Tranny Prostitute....

Well he does know how to use lipstick better than some *****es on a boat. :awesome:
I'm determined to see J. Edgar when it comes out over here

Yeah you're really gonna feel for Edgar. It's just so sad, i mean his mother wasn't a bad or repulsive character either, she loved him and all but she was a hardcore christian who clearly molded Edgar into this "make America proud and safe, get married with a woman and have children" man. It was Edgar's love to Tolson that stopped him for ever settling down with a woman.

It barely has any of the tranny stuff, because those we're really urban rumours, btu there is alitlte of it.
I expect the usual Leonardo Dicaprio mental breakdown in every Leonardo Dicaprio movie. Dicaprio has paranoid freakout on tap

Yeah he really nails down the paranoia well imo.

That's kind of hilarious.

Anyway, Martin had 5 seasons. That's pretty good for a sitcom.

i saw in time tonight, further evidence that the writer and the director need to be 2 separate people imo. it was almost good.

Yeah it had some cool ideas but it's supported around by some dumb logic.

I haven't seen In Time, but I'm going to take a wild guess that somebody toward the very beginning of the movie says "time is money."

"In Time" also has a really stupidly optimistic ending, you dislike capitalism? Don't worry, someday modern day Robin Hoods will come, rob banks and give it to the poor! Hooray!

Isn't that the tagline/entire premise of the movie? Of course someone says it.

that's not even the most obvious one.

well, i guess he...ran out of time

it looks like your...time's up

For me the movie fell apart when you find out you can take/give away your time (btw your time is also how long you can stay alive) by a simple turn of wrist. I can imagine all the robberies from that alone.
