I know very little about Thor, save for the basics...why are people crapping on Jane Foster so much?

Mainly I'm just joking because of how she was in the comic books
In the movie she is actually pretty likable
Though I would still rather see Thor end up with Sif
You're thinking of Valkarye. Sif can f**k who she wants. Even a Cyborg Space Horse.
Yup. They should all move into an apartment or something. Share Thor/Donny on alternate days.
Or both.
I got a ton of off the wall super hero ideas.
Like that scenario right there. Or a shape shifter who, after years of shifting between men, women, animals, objects, has lost their sexual identity, and at this point the only thing that gets it off is intersecies gang bangs.

so stupid fanboy BS....I thought Sif was a "shield maiden" or something....meaning that she was some sort of warrior priest...like no relationships or anything like that

"This is a character who in her Wagnerian opera origins is such a passionate woman consumed with love that it had her banished from Asgard. And yet, she's been now portrayed in so many incarnations as cold, loveless, aloof. I wanted to explore that as well," he said. "What is it about her personality that has had so many comic creators and characters within the Marvel Universe react as though that's the way she is. What I've explored is that she's a character that love is so powerful to her that she dislikes love and sex being, to her, trivialized. She is very resentful and takes it as a personal insult when these deep commitments of the heart can be discarded. What is perceived as being cold, is actually a very high moral standard in regards to male, female relationships."
As for Sif, being a "shieldmaiden" doesn't mean anything. It's basically just a way of saying that she's a warrior. It has nothing to do with her sexuality and it doesn't make her a chaste priestess or anything like that. It just means she can and will kick your ass.
