Hey guys and welcome to the Unofficial Mafia/Mob Thread. Basically I wanted to start a thread mainly discussing Gotham's finest mofia biz from characters and events in the movie(s) such as Sal Maroni and Carmine Falcone to comic characters and events like Alberto/Holiday, Black Mask and other mafia characters I'm unaware of and that may make into the sequels.

Well, Carmine "The Roman" Falcone, had a huge part in TLH, but was used in BB and probably won't make a return appearance in TDK.

Well anyway, when do you guys think Black Mask will come in? We all know he's gonna be apart of the story.

There were rumors that he might be, WAY back in early production, but everything we've seen so far shows that NOT to be the case. Maybe he was in a first draft but his part got replaced by the returning Scarecrow/Johnathan Crane.

For a while I thought he would, then I didn't, then Anthony Michael Hall was playing a mystery character so I did again, but now I don't.

Doens't seem like there's any more room for him. We've got the basic plot outline already. A massive gang war between Maroni, Scarecrow, some Europeans, and a couple other gangs (recent set reports mention Rasta's), as well as Batman, Gordon, and Dent teaming up to stop them, as well as the Joker. No real room for Black Mask in there, at least not to give him a sizable role.

Well during Under the Hood and War Games he turned out to be one of the most powerful kingpins of the Gotham City Underworld; I think he'd be a great villian to put in upcomming sequels because he's more about ruining Bruce Wayne's life instead of getting the BatMan. It would be different change of pase for a BatMan film if you were to base it off more towards Bruce Wayne than BatMan; sure there would be less BatMan but that doesn't mean Bruce can ass too.
