Just look at him! What a man!
He started off in the KGB. What a badass. As much as I politically disagree with what he has done recently, I can't help but admire the sheer style of which he pulled it off. He was the country's President, and when his term came to a finish, he had a puppet dude become the new President (Dmitry-something or other, who cares?) and basically appointed himself Prime Minister. By name he is not the man in charge, but we ALL know Vlad is the guy still pulling the strings. What a man.
Russia is basically a dictatorship trying to not look like a dictatorship. But Vlad isn't even all that subtle about it. What's he care? He's Vladimer ****ing Putin!!
If I lived in Russia, I'd be like "hail Lord Vlad!!!". Gladly.
Some occasional news reports, the odd Russian military plane flying in other countries' airspace, controversy with previous Russian nations breaking away, etc, lead me to believe there may be possible escalated friction in the future between Russia and the west. Has Vlad took it upon himself to be Russia's dictator in order to take some hard stances against the west, to drive Russia into the direction he thinks it ought to go?
