I love pre-crisis Superman but I like Golden age more. I wish Superman would have stayed like that but give him heat vision and flying instead of jumping. I mean Golden Age Supes was just the man; I mean if it wasn't for the gov stepping in it would have been great to see where his stories would have gone. As well as The Batman Golden Age Batman and Superman put together would have been great. I mean if some of you have read their stories you would know what I am talking about.

Golden Age Superman uh, was the one that leaped. He didn't leap through the Golden Age, but I still think you've got that Superman confused with The Silver Age one.

And, uh, the goverment? :o

Gah, enough with the covers! Especially if they're going to be so small.

How about Streaky's origin then?

No I got him right when Superman first came out he use to jump all over the place till the radio show which gave him the power of flight along with all his other powers though he still very much acted like the golden age Superman on the show. That is the Superman I like. He was more like how Batman is in the comics today. Meaning he really didn't work to much with the cops and so forth that the cops wanted to bring him in but never could.

When I say goverment are the reason why you have the Superman you do now is really before; before they stepped in Superman was just starting to help out with the cops but still was dark and with the powers he has now. But people put up a big fuss over how dark they are or this and that so they changed them. Superman was easy because he was already starting to work with the cops and all they just said lets make him nice and have him completely work with them and so they made him into the boy scout we have now. As well as Batman, he was changed from being dark to being like Adam West though it was harder to change Batman and it almost killed him in the comics. Batman and Superman use to strike fear into the hearts of people when they first started. They still do but not like how they use to and people use to fear Superman more because of his powers. The Silver Age is because of the goverment really. Thats why I say I still love the golden age the stories were more in depth and it was just nice art work back then.

My point on why I like the golden age back then none of this stuff would have happened. Not to crack on it. I just mean before these things would have been not even thought of. Batman and Robin use to kick butt instead of flriting with each other:rolleyes:.

I find it pretty amazing that somebody has managed to construct a set of clamps, each larger than Venezuala.

Hehehhee. :D

And All-Star, I appreciate the effort, but could you edit your posts? I mean, include the links if you want, but don't post the actual pictures. Clutters up the thread, even more so considering it isn't even related to what I'm doing. Thanks.

Does during the Crisis count as Pre-Crisis?Because Psimon's death always cracked me up. It went something like...

Psimon: Well, now that I've destroyed Braniac, I'll kill Luthor and take over the.... *crash!* oh, them's me brain meats on the floor. *thud*

The actual Crisis is kind of, well, hard to explain. Wally West remembered it, but no, for the most part, the actual Crisis is for all intents and purpose, Pre-Crisis and not rembered by the majority of the DCU.

And this thread hath been bumpethed.

Just got to this thread. It's big. And I just barely started skimming it to find this

lol Man I bet you guys had a field day with this picture.
