Especially when Lori literally told Rick that he was a danger to all of them, and now she's surprised that Rick killed him? Some times I think issue 48 can't happen soon enough.

I think she has a chance to flourish without Shane or Dale around. Her character had been almost entirely directed by one or the other... and with them both gone, they can let her grow.
