The Walking Dead The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 15 "Us" Discussion Thread

I think the candy wraper was focused on to let the audience know they were for sure following Rick's path. Not sure how Daryl could assume it belonged to anyone from his old group, of which he has seen no evidence anyone else made it out alive from the prison.
He might be hopeful if he recalled that the wrapper was from one of Carl's favorites.

Exactly. How many months has he spent around Carl and Michonne? If one of them had a sweet tooth for a particular brand of candy, and he saw a candy wrapper left lying around from that particular brand, then he could reasonably assume that it might be possible that it's either Carl or Michonne (Hell, if it's Carl, then maybe he's asked Daryl on multiple occasions to pick up some of those candy bars when he went to make supply runs). Not to mention the sign. Like what Maggie said about Glenn, he'd probably suspect that if any of his people saw it that they'd go for it.

I only saw the ep once, but was it clear that Daryll actually saw the wrapper?

My initial thought is that the wrapper was shown solely for us, the audience, considering the ep showed Carl and Michonne competing for it earlier on.

I don't think any body in the group, including Daryll, noticed the candy wrapper. I think it's a far stretch that Daryll would put two and two together, seeing as how 1) the men said they caught a quick glimpse of a man; not a man with a boy. 2) Daryll has no idea that Carl and Rick are even together, 3) Not only kids eat candy bars; it could be anybody's and 4) Carl cannot be the only person in that state that likes that particular brand of candy!

Just saying….

Daryl is hurting, about Beth, the whole situation, I think Daryl in his prime and right state of mind could have given Joe's group the slip by now, they probably wouldn't have even gone looking for him, considering how they acted when they thought he left but he was actually hunting that rabbit. I love Daryl, but he seems pretty quick to submit to any other alpha male who even remotely gives off a fatherly vibe. Guess we'll find out next week, but had he fell in with this group earlier in the season, he would probably have fully conformed to Joe's group and his rules, claiming stuff left and right by now.

I have a feeling that Daryll will 'claim' the right to kill Rick, thus saving him in some light.

**** you for crushing my anticipation. :o:csad:

She's still a cannibal. No way Denise Crosby isn't.

Indeed. The reason they killed her character off on Star Trek was because they were sick of her eating crew members between takes. :woot:

I've thoroughly enjoyed the 2nd half of this season. A lot of great stuff visually and storytelling/character development wise. Can't wait for the finale.

Well, Mary can still be her mother. I mean, they both have their fishtail braid laid on the left side...

Also, I saw the scene where Maggie burns her picture and says to Glenn he'll never need it again as a foreshadow to something that will happen to one of them, especially her. :(
