I just found that out. I have DKCR on wii and DKCTF on wii u and DKC 2 on SNES and the game boy ones but I don't have DKC and the 3erd on for SNES.

I have barely put DKC down since downloading it today. Without a doubt my all time favorite game.

False. The original Donkey Kong Country is my FAVORITE game of all time. It's tied with DKC2. DKCR and DKCTF are very, very good games, but they don't hold a candle to my darling originals.

He was weak sauce compared to that pufferfish boss in World 4. That's the number one reason I haven't given Tropical Freeze another play through. The water levels are torture.

I think the Donkey Kong Country Returns games are great, but are nowhere as good as most of the top titles on the SNES.

While they are all pretty good but I like DKC2 and TF more and TF is my favorite. I think TF level disine is a little better and the soundtrack I think is the best off all of them but the game is a little to easy though. DKC3 I think is like the worst but still not bad just dosnt quit fell like a DK game even the music is way different.

I am nostalgic about the game, sure, but I'm replaying it now on the Wii U VC and it holds up for me 100%. I'll stand by it being my favorite game of all time until the day I kick the bucket.

The entire DKC franchise still holds up, so I don't know why nostalgia would come into place. I still think SMW is the best Mario game ever created. That's not nostalgia talking, that game is just a monster that still holds up. Having preferences on what DKC game you prefer is completely valid, but again, nothing I would ever attribute to nostalgia.

The DKC franchise is really great one of the best. Zelda is my favorite franchise but DKC is up there to.

It is maybe even a little to hard. When I got the game I got it reused and it had a save file on the last level of the game and I tried to beat that last boss like a million times and could never do it and also when I go though the game my self the farthest I could ever get was only like world 2 lol has there was a leve where I just couldn't figure out what to do.

I've gotten as far as the honeycomb levels. At that point I lose my mind and start breaking all my ****. Oh, and that level where the wind changes directions on you? Nopenopenope. Impossible.

Is that world 3? Over all old games are just harder then new games not just this games. I don't know why that is. Maybe the fell like people just don't want to half to spend has much time on a game to beat it so they can move on to a new game or something?

Really? It is extremely hard. I always loved the roller coster levels on all of the DKC games they are some of my favorite levels in each game.

I haven't been challenged by a Zelda game since Great Bay and Stone Tower in MM. And those were more slightly confusing than actually difficult.
