Lasso, Sword, Bracelets confirmed

Do you want another stuff or just keep the confirmed things as her current stuff.

Shield, Spear? helmet?

Would you like to see Wonder Woman using some other cool weapons, defense stuff?
Which stuff would you want Wonder Woman to use?

Also what do you think of the idea of her using his bracelets as holding her true power?

and to keep fancy/magical weapons when she needs it as this...

We know she will have the lasso, a sword, a spear and a shield. That's good for the first time out in BvS. I personally think that if she has the invisible jet that it should be of multi usage. So, more like her own mobile Batcave. It should have been outfitted with as much stuff as her Amazon sisters and her mother could imagine she might need. So, on top of some god forged or Amazon created weapons like the sword or the spear I am also thinking magical talismans, the Golden Eagle Armor, maybe a personal invisibility cloak like in Harry Potter. We would see these all in both a solo and a the JL films.

I know many around here love the Azz bracelets thing... It just seems to much for me. As I've said before, I don't think of conjuring objects/weapons out of thin air when I think of WW. That's GL's schtick.

I think her core "weapons" should be the lasso, bracelets and possibly her tiara. Not to mention her fists and feet!

As for additional weapons, it appears that she'll be equipped with a sword. And a spear and shield have been heavily rumoured for a long time. Personally, I don't want to see Wonder Woman carrying around an armoury on her back and sides when she heads into battle. And given her super-powers and potentially those of her opponents, I'm not sure that such weapons would be too helpful. At best, I'd prefer to see any additional weaponry limited to a sword. But, I'd prefer it to be worn on her back (i.e. hidden out of sight) and only used as a last resort (if at all).

I'm not sure about "god mode". It sounds like she'll have the New52 origin as the demi-god daughter of Zeus, but I don't know whether they'll embrace the god mode concept (which I think was based on an earlier Amazon rage/beserker concept). On the one hand, it could make for an epic scene where a beaten Wonder Woman cuts loose and absolutely and definitively defeats a powerful enemy with her super-super-powers. But, on the other hand, I don't want to see a de-powered Wonder Woman 90% of the time and I don't want them to have to keep making excuses for why Wonder Woman is holding back.

Unless the bracelets were simply more of a psychological trigger tied to Wonder Woman keeping her abilities in check, similar to how Superman has to go through day-to-day life always keeping his strength under control, whether he's typing an article or fighting a super-villain. The bracelets could simply serve as Wonder Woman's way of reminding herself to retain control and not to give into base desires like anger. And, if she does drop them, then you know that she's not holding back and that's she in it to win.

Actually those weapons are magical so that she can harm her powerful opponents ;) That's the point IMO. I think the sword she has is something special and not a simple sword.

That's a perfect adaption to livescreen possibility... Nice

Actually these are not confirmed... were brought by a scoop site.

Was that how it went down? I thought we did get confirmation on the weaponry, then the costume reveal pic sealed the deal showing the sword and the harness for the weapons?

Also as for WW having weapons... I don't think WW will or should be walking around strapped at all times, nor do I think anyone is suggesting that. Like I said, she can store things on the jet if need be. But if she is aware she IS going to fight then of course she's going to get the right tools for the job. This seems obvious to me at least.

Yep a scoop video on youtube. the only weapon confirmed is the sword, of course besides the lasso, "tiara" and bracelets

I like the idea of weapons being summoned from her bracelets and I like the idea of the God mode but only as last resort.

I just want creative use of all of the gadgets/weapons. The tiara especially has been very under-utilized in nearly all of WW's incarnations.

I don't like the idea of the "god mode" and as much as I liked Azzarello's run (which is very much) inclusion of the "god mode" wasn't really of much importance even in the run in which it was invented, except as a manifestation of Diana's different origin to us readers and to give a bit deeper exploration of her character with her choosing not to abuse power, but that could've easily been done differently, Azzarello has been doing great characterization during the entire run and he's talented enough to depict what he wanted without the "god mode" being invented for that purpose. In the end, it's inclusion felt unnecessary to me.

Nice theory man

I am totally fine with the Invisible Jet. Of course it's going to be like a modern day fantasy "stealth" craft and not just a model with a doll inside dressed as WW that we all can "see". I want to see it as a V-ToL, cloaked, mobile base of operations. Packed to the gills with what ever she might need on her journey to Man's World.

I have often wanted WW to add some kind of personal invisibility item to her arsenal. Imagine it's the finale of a WW film. She appears at the bad guy's HQ, from out of no where, to ask for their peaceful surrender. She's giving them one last chance. They balk (never asking how Diana got to them in the first place) threaten violence, then WW lets out a sigh followed by a battle cry... Suddenly the villains find themselves surrounded by an army of Amazons that had sneaked in using personal invisibility cloaks using the same material that the jet is made from.

I just realised that we've seen spy shots of Wonder Woman in her civilain clothes (i.e. the little blue dress) and she didn't appear to be wearing the gauntlets. So, it would appear unlikely that the gauntlets will be tied to "god mode" in any way, even if there is a "god mode". As such, all of my above rambling was even more worthless than usual!

SCHUUZZ seem fairly appropriate to me, as far as onomatopoeias go. I guess that THWAASHH or PSHCRAAW would be equally appropriate thunder-like sounds.

For ****s sake, I need something better to debate about, as soon as possible. :woot:

It would be cool to introduce a new weapon in any of Wonder Woman's apperances.

Bazooka? :p

On, the other hand, Batman is carrying a machine gun in BvS, so it's not that much of a stretch. :woot:

I still want to see the Golden Eagle Armor.

Yeah, me too. I look good in eagle motif.

Ah, you mean for Wonder Woman. :woot:

From the snippet in the trailer, it seems like we do have a new "weapon" of sorts - the "blast" that Wonder Woman produces when she bangs/slaps her gauntlets together.

It has appeared in the comics before, but I don't think it has even been part of her regular, frequently used power/weapon set.
