I think Man United and Man City will be main challengers for title, City have signed Rashford via a stint at Real Madrid.

Does your league look like the league as it is now or has it changed a lot?

Pretty much the same, sadly mate, your boys have done back down though. The current 'top six' dominance is much the same, but the Manchester clubs are not as dominant in this than they are in real life.

There appears to be one or two clubs who 'surprise' each season, for example we had West Ham in the Champions League during last season and Southampton have qualified for the Europa League for this season.

Arsenal though are as they are in real life, in a mess.

The promoted clubs this season are Leeds Utd, Fulham and Aston Villa.

Aye, it was a bit 'special'. Their league form suffered, they were in the relegation zone for a while and ended up mid table.

A major 'plus' of this year's release is the actual 'on the day' presentation of the actual match day, they are pretty much like a Super Sunday, in that the players faces and line ups are shown on screen for Premier League games and it 'feels' like a proper Sky production.

Decent commentary as ever by Martin Tyler and Alan Smith, with score updates from around the grounds by Alan McNally.

That's a good improvement. I like it when they make it seem really familiar to our own Saturday experience.

It really is like watching live football, they only way you can distinguish a difference is that the players have a red triangle above their heads, in the game.

Ha, guess there’s no real way to show who your active player is that would look the same as real football.

Season 4 going well, lost Firmino for 7 months to injury though, but fortunately Werner working out big time, not 10 games played in the league and he is on 19 league goals already.

4 points from opening two CL games, progression in the League Cup.

One of my Youth Team players has been promoted to Senior Squad and is doing great, young (19) Spanish striker. Now worth over £3 million and is a consistent goal scorer.

Just closed on Season 4 and a superb season all told.

League Champions with 109 points, European Champions League winners against Real Madrid and both domestic cups won.

Werner with 119 season goals (78 in the league alone).

New signings on end of contract's (free) going into Season 5.

    Kante from Chelsea
    Ronaldo from Real Madrid
    Racitic from Barcalona
    Drexler from PSG
    De Gea from Man Utd

Into transfer window and signed very young midfield player, Barco, from Swansea who impressed last season for £50 million, https://sofifa.com/player/236007, his rating now is 85, such a wonderfully gifted player and only 22.

Sold so far this transfer window, Wjenaldum for £22 million to Spurs, Joe Gomez for £7.25 million to West Brom, Oxlade-Chamberlain to Southampton for £42 million and a few players that I can't see breaking into the team.

I now have the goalkeeper choice of Courtois or De Gea, unbelievable as my League / CL keeper and a squad with BOTH Messi & Ronaldo.

Werner out injured for 4 months but have back up in Firmino or Mbappe.

Anticipated First Team IX for next season...

    1) De Gea (for league games) / Courtois (for cup games)
    2) Kimmish
    3) Gaya
    4) Gimenez
    5) Van Djik (planning on approaching for Sule from Juve this pre-season)
    6) Kante or Racitic
    7) Mbappe or Isco
    8) Messi
    9) Werner (when back from inury / Ronaldo CF to start season)
    10) Ronaldo (to switch to LWF when Werner back from injury)
    11) Drexler

Coming to the end of the summer transfer window and as well as the above have signed Dolberg https://sofifa.com/player/228687 (now 87 in rating) from Leicester City for £86.5 million and Romagnoli (now rating 85) https://sofifa.com/player/210413 from AC Milan for £42.5 million and there maybe a new LB on the way in as well.

Into Season 5 now and just had January transfer window and done my 'purging' of the 'out of contract' players to join us in July, out of season.

    Coming in are....

    Neymar (AML)
    S. Milinkovi-Savi (CM)
    Butland (GK)
    Dybala (CAM)
    L. Hernández (CD)
    Aleix García (CDM)

This will allow for a team to contain Messi, Ronaldo & Neymar at the striking front of the team.

    M. de Ligt signed in the transfer window for £20.2 million, from Ajax, only 22, will be long term replacement for some of the older centre backs.

End of the previous summer transfer window signed Ryan Sessegnon for £9.5 million from Fulham as both cover for LB & LM, very useful player.

Sold striker Laborde to Arsenal for £20 million, Callegari to Huddersfield for £9 million, Aleñà to Arsenal for £53 million (a profit of £34 million) and some central defenders to be sold in the summer (3 at this stage to be sold).

On the field, a few long term injuries to key strikers, but Werner & Dolberg not injured at same time so not too bad. Through to League Cup Final and going well in the league.

Anticipated First Team XI for Next Season

    1) De Gea
    2) Kimmish
    3) Gaya
    4) De Ligt
    5) Gimmenez
    6) Milinkovi-Savi/Kante
    7) Ronaldo
    8) Messi
    9) Werner/Dolberg
    10) Dybala
    11) Neymar

Seasons 5 & 6 completed and all available trophies won.

A lot of changes in personal as the final players from the original squad (bar Van Djik) are shown the door and the quality of the squad progresses to replace the retiring Ronaldo & the moved on Messi (off to sunny Turf Moor for £22 million at the age of 35 !!!!)

Changed formation to a diamond in midfield to accommodate an extra striker up front, rather than a single-two winger up-top as was.

The midfield of Diawara-Barco-Ødegaard-Dybala now is simply unstoppable. That's with Neymar, De Bruyne & Pulisic as back up !!

Aguero brought in on end of contract contract, scored 17 league goals alone at the age of 34, Dolberg & Werner still banging them in, and Rashford bought from Manchester City for £80 million has been a revelation with over 100 goals in his first season.

Into Season 7, just, European Super Cup won, Community Shield and Champions Cup in pre-season won, won opening two league games.

Last season was horrific for injuries, particularly to the midfield, but slowly all coming back to first team action.

Have enough quality throughout the squad to have a first team able to take on all cup competitions with a different team.

Hit January in Season 7, going well, through to League Cup Final and qualified for CL, which starts up soon.

End of Contracts arranged in transfer window and got Jesus from Real Madrid, quality player along with Corentin Tolisso from Manchester City.

Sold Gareth Bale to Leicester City for £12.25 million.

Had a £100m+ bid for Mbappe which turned down from Barcelona and a £93 million bid from Real Madrid for Barco which dismissed out of hand.

Given we are 7 years down the line now, some of the up & coming players of 'right now' getting a bid older, Isco & Koke both now 31, De Bruyne 31, Dybala 30, so looking at bringing in younger talent to the midfield in the summer.

With this is mind, managed to find an excellent young 18 year old central defensive midfield player on a free transfer at 65 ability, get him trained up over the next few years and at 20/21 will be able to come into first team.

Managed to sell De Ligt to Manchester United for £44 million, utter dross of a player who on paper should be great at 83, but just isn't a solid enough player for us, he's now Jose's problem :woot:

Man Utd just spent over £100 million on new defenders in the window and just spanked them 9-1 at Old Trafford so money well spent there for them.

Bournemouth now consistently a solid performer in the league and qualifying for the CL, with the likes of Arsenal & Man City missing out.

Will see how rest of season pans out and update shortly.

Just wrapped on Season 7, which ended with the F.A. Cup win against West Ham 5-3, and a 4-1 win v Barcelona in Champions League final.

Into pre-season going into Season 8, and won the pre-season tournament, just signed Harry Maguire for £16 million in summer transfer window, got rid of Aaron Ramsey to Watford for £6.5 million and a young Moroccan midfielder I'd developed through the youth system, Benzai, to Bournemouth for £3.3 million, good little player but never going to break into first team consistently so made profit on him and sold Kimmich, now 29, to Juventus for £35.5 million.

Made over £800m profit last season so fair bit of wedge to spend, just got a few 'spare parts' to get rid of at moment, put Koke up for sale, possibly Neymar too.

See how the rest of transfer window goes on sales & purchases, until start of next season.

Okay, just reached end of the Summer transfer window, Community Shield won and pre-season tournament won.

Sold nearly £250 million worth of players, highlights including Brandt to Manchester United for £95 million and Isco to Bayern Munich for £48 million (given he's now 32, nearly 33, this is a great deal).

Incoming deals include an additional striker from Southampton, Colombian player named Barre, 28 years old, £39.5 million and Belgian midfielder, Rigo for £40 million, 24, can play left or right in central midfield.

Started season well, 2 league wins including 4-0 against Man City at Anfield and the European Super Cup win.

We'll do well this season, team feels 'quicker' and with Gabriel Jesus brought in from Real Madrid on 'free', now 27, he's at his peak and scored goals instantly.

More sales (which will go through in January transfer window), Koke sold to West Ham for £28.5 million. Keeper, Lalont, going out on loan to AC Milan for the year.

November of this season (8), defence is much improved in league and CL. Got my targets set up for the January transfer window and some younger players on my radar.

Put Werner up for loan, his confidence seems to have taken a battering with playing less games since Jesus arriving, whereas Rashford has risen to it, so hopefully a season on loan for Timo can bring him back up to speed, no takers just yet. Edit - He's off to Burnley for a year in the January transfer window.

Another sale agreed for Ryan Sessegnon, to Arsenal for £25 million plus a 5% sell on clause, screwed them over again :woot:, that will happen in January.

Will promote a promising RB into the main squad from the youth squad once the spaces become available then, Egyptian youngster who is already worth £725,000 and only 18, so bodes well.

Knocked back a £90+ million offer for Dolberg from Real Madrid, too good a squad back up to loose him to a European rival.

Results going really well this season, what is good though, there is at last some consistent decent competition for the title from Spurs, they are going toe to toe with us. Chelsea awful and down the bottom, Man City mid table, Utd just outside top 5 and Arsenal 4th.

Let's see what December, the Xmas period and January Transfers bring. Edit - Butland wants more game time and wants to go out on loan too, that would leave me only 2 keepers in the squad, so not sure if that will happen or not. Have picked up 4 long term midfield injuries to key players since originally typing this so maybe a loan signing myself required to plug the gap short term.

Okay, January transfer window just closed, lots of business in & out done.

Firstly, Butland gone on loan to Arsenal for a year, see how that pans out for him. So, signed Allision from Roma for £26 million, back to having 3 keepers now at club, Donnarumma, De Gea & Allison.

Sold two fringe midfielders for a combined £56 million, Neymar, now 32, too Bayern Munich for £58.5 million and Ramagnoli, now 30, back to Milan for £57.5 million.

Bought Griezmann from Chelsea (now 33 but still handy) for £22.5 million. Scored 4 goals on his debut and with Werner off to Burnley found a young, 24 year old striker at Hamburg named Arp, bought for £44.5 million.

Made as usual my pre-contract deals -

    Sane 29 from Man City

Bernardo Silva 30 from Bayern Munich

    Jon Stones 31 from Juventus

    Boschillia 29 from Monaco

    Good business all round.
