The 'World of Heroes: DC Style" RPG Season II

"Yeh, I agree with yeh Eddie, but I think our large purple friend may have just opened up a whole new game for us....do you know what Bruce Wayne is WORTH??? Think of the ransom's he could pay."

"Hell, I'm tingly all over"

Then, in a 'by-the-way' manner, Rudy lets his new teammates know a crucial secret.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell ya; Superman's Clark Kent and Batman's Bruce Wayne. Just thought you'd like to know."

"Bruce Wayne!" Nigma fell off his chair, "Well, just for that, I have a present for you."

He goes back into the shadows where he appeared originally, and returned dragging a bound and gagged blonde woman. "Parasite, I'd like you to meet Trudy White. She'll be that hot meal you wanted." Trudy began to cry as the Riddler began to cackle with glee.

Harkness makes no attempt to protest Nigma's offering of the girl...actually, he moves forward with the glee and curiousity of a voyeur. Ready to watch and savor the defiling of an innocent soul. And most importantly, to see how she can be used to further aid their quest.

And he grabs another beer. Digger has a powerful thirst for hops. heh.

"Dammit, now I have to get up."

Parasite grudgingly gets off of the couch and grabs the woman's leg and examines her. He has no interest in her sexually, only as a meal. He dangles her upside down, several feet above the floor.

"Well that's awful generous, Nigma. I think we'll get along just fine."

With that, Rudy drains the woman and within a couple seconds, she falls to the floor, turned to dust and rotted bones. A servant droid hovers up to the scene and begins cleaning up the mess.

"*BURP* Well, that'll do me for the next day or so."

Rudy lays back down on the couch and starts to fall asleep.

OOC: Yeah, I'm gonna be leaving soon for a few hours. Feel free to converse while Rudy sleeps.

*MM sends out a telepathic message to all League Members.*

"Everybody report to the HQ"

I send a message back with my mind.

'Me and Superman are on our way.'

I turn to Clark.

"Clark, did you listen to me? Parasite just took down the Planet. It's been all over the news. But, we have to go the JL headquarters, we have a League to rebuild."

I turn back into the Batplane and take off.

*MM sends out a telepathic message to all League Members.*

"Everybody report to the HQ"

"Roger that, J'onn." Wonder Woman clicks the toggle at her belt and streaks into the air. "I'll be at the Invisible Jet in moments. I wonder what the emergency is."

*Unaware that the IS noticed Zolomon already, he decides to make his next move more obvious to catch the attention of the IS*

[OOC]Yes, I know, I can always use my speed to find the base, but where's the fun in that?[/OOC]

"Hrm, my next move needs to be good. Great. It needs to show how useless everyone's speed is compared to mine."

*He sets off for the Flash Museum. Upon arrival he puts his hand against the door and pauses for a few seconds to shift the door to his timeline. He then sets the speed at which the door ages to an extremely high pace. Hunter watches as the door slowly turns to dust and blows away.*

*Zoom stops in front of a biography about The Rival*

"Yes! Perfect! This man was a genius."

*In a blink of an eye, Hunter sets out to carve his own name of bloody corpses across America.*

*Hal Jordan and his Green Lantern Corps are together once again. The speed of to their various sectors, fighting injustice one section of space at a time. And as Hal stands there, he cries, a tear dripping down his face*

"Why are you crying," asked a small Guardian.

*The Corps disappears*

"I woke up, Drywyk. I woke up..."

*J'onn flies to see Hal*

"Hal, You don't need to do this. Come back."

 

[RPG swordmaster]

Slade is in his former base/hideout, removing the last of his arsenal, leaving his 'trophies' of past victories behind. He almost sighs, leaving the last of his former mercenary life behind him to become a 'hero', one of those he used to loathe. Instead, he reminds himself of his new aspirations, and once again is firmly behind his decision to attempt to help, and maybe someday join, the JLA. He loads the equipment into his personal jet and sets off for the JLA watchtower. (is it fixed yet? it was destroyed if I recall in season one). As he heads off, he hits a switch, completely destroying his former headquarters completely.

 

[Dwarf lord]

*Martain Mahunter goes down to the Marianas Trench and starts to use his telekenisis to construct a new Watchtower.*

"Arthur once told me that it would be the perfect place for a Headquarters. As isolated as one can get and still close to the ones were look after."

*He finishes and floats in and starts studying the recent villain happenings. And he comes to three pictures.*

"Riddler. Zoom. Parasite. THE INJUSTICE SOCIETY! Supergirl. Batman. Green Lantern. Wonder Woman. Black Canary. PLEASE REPORT TO THE NEW WATCHTOWER!"

*Supergirl hears the message and quickly flies up to the Watchtower.*

"Thank you for coming, Supergirl. The IS is reforming and probably bigger than we saw them last time. It got so bad where I er... Green Arrow had to kill Slade. We may be at the brink of World War. We have Work to do."

 

[RPG swordmaster]

Slade arrives at the watchtower slightly after Supergirl. Knowing that she, along with a few other heroes haven't realized his shift in sides, he walks out with his hands up.

"Anyone care to direct me to where I'm supposed to go now that I'm here?"

 

[Dwarf lord]

"The Brig," Said J'onn as he dirrected him to it. "You have no business being in the League.

 

[doc ock rules!]

*Shocked.*

"That's absolutely horrible. This war has to be stopped. Have you laid out a plan? What can I do to help stop them?"

 

[RPG swordmaster]

"Apparently you're a little behind" said Slade, barely supressing his distaste for J'onn
" I SAVED Hal's life not too long ago, and have been aiding the League ever since. You COULD say I've had an awakening of sorts, dying can do that to a person. I'm here to help, and I'm here to stay. John scanned me for innocence, my intentions are all good."

Slade seems bored, having recited this monologue one time too many.

The Parasite wakes up from his nap. Riddler and Boomerang are minding their own business, checking out the base's features. Rudy gets up from the couch and retrieves a fresh battery pack and absorbes it.
He then tosses a smart portal device to both Riddler and Digger.

"Consider it another gift from our friend with the yellow power ring. these little babies will open up a portal for you to go to wherever you want, as long as you know the co-ordinates. They also serve as a comlink between us. Enjoy."

Rudy then sits back down on the couch and starts playing the built-in Xbox on the big screen TV.

OOC: How'd you know about me? I barely made myself known. Oh well, J'onn is psychic, so it makes some kind of sense.
