After that everything was a blur, Mordru, Flash, J'onn. Suddenly her shadow reached for her. Gasping she rolled away from it as the hands grabbed at her.
"How do you get rid of a shadow?"
She thought as what looked like scorpions pored out of the roofs shadows.
Holding her stomach she shakily stood up, seeing Deathstroke appear next to Wally.
"FLASH!" She called trying to beat off the shadows, as she gagged. Where were they coming from?

Too late, he was hit by whatever Slade shot him with, dry heaving again Dinah hit the ground on her knees and blanked out to the world around her.
Lifting her head she saw J'onn in flames and Mordru vanish and then appear behind Raven.

Good to see someone took Trop's post into account.

As J'onn gets laid on a stretcher and carried away by the Meds, I notice Flash walking towards me. I look apprehensivley at him, "Are you alright...it seemed as if you were in real trouble down there...and Bruce? Where is he?And what happened to the rest?"

 

[Savage]

"I'm fine. I have absolutely no clue where Bruce is though."
*That's when the comm goes off. Speak of the devil.*

"Everyone, I know where their HQ is.

"They're at the Tower of Fate."

*That doesn't make any sense. How did they even manage to get into Fate's tower? It's impossible.*

"Are you sure?" I responded.

 

[Nightwing]

OOC: I'm in the watchtower now? When did J'onn and I get transported? Oh well. I can deal.

Good to see someone took Trop's post into account.

OOC: It was just too cool of an idea not to play with it.

Flash and J'onn are gone, transported back to the Watchtower. Slade and Mordu escaped, but not before killing ANOTHER one of us, Raven. Slade did mention something before he left, an "ivory tower."

Ivory tower...

"Everyone," I call out into the comm., "I know where their HQ is.

"They're at the Tower of Fate."

"Bruce, we need to regroup before we do anything else." She said into her comm. She could hear the tension in his voice. If it had been just him he'd have gone there right away.
She glanced over at the other rooftops. Wonder Woman was on the roof Ollie had been on. Something must have happened. Her throat tightened.
Surveying the rooftop she was on she saw pools of blood, fire marks and explosion remains. Purposefully she averted her eyes from where Ravens remains were.
The creeping shadows, from who knows where, dispersed off the rooftop.

Turning to Supergirl she said "Raven was a Teen Titan, I suppose you'd like to take care of her remains?"

 

[Tropico]

The shadows receded. Shade just wanted to add to the bedlam, which he managed to do. He felt exhausted from controlling so many specific shadows instead of kust letting the creatures roam free. He went back to the tower and finished pouring himself a drink and sank into a chair. He could hear Mordru's laughter echoeing in the halls and thought that the sound didn't comfort him. Not one bit.

OOC: According to JRK's post I'm up here too. But regardless. This thing is going crazy with everybody here now. I don't think I've ever had to edit so much.

I hear Bruce's voice in my ear. So he was in a good enough condition to speak at least...this was not assuring in any way though. I look up at Flash, "Do what you have to do with what Batman said..." I massage my temples in agony at not knowing where the JLers were!

I wheel back to the console and try locating those who were involved in the Battle down there, "JLers who can hear me, please respond as soon as possible so that I know if you need assistance and can respond." Heaving out a sigh, I rest my chin on my fist, waiting for their response, hoping againts hope that all hasn't come to the worst.

I hear Wally from the comm., "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure," I replied, "Slade mentioned something about an 'ivory tower.' Not to mention the fact that Mordu was WEARING FATE'S ARMOR."

"Bruce, we need to regroup before we do anything else." Dinah's voice rings from the comm.

"Right. Transport us up to the Watchtower. Wally, you can probably help too, I noticed your little teleporting trick." I hear Barbara's voice from the comm. "I'll try to track them from the Batmobile here."

 

[Supergirl]

OOC: It was just too cool of an idea not to play with it.

J'onn opens his eyes to an empty infirmary. His skin is blistered and sore. He, however is able to rise to his feet thanks to his alien DNA. He makes his way to the main control room. He is in his original alien form. "Anything I can help with?"

 

[Savage]

*Of course. I thought he was just taunting us...But still, just HOW do you get into Fate's tower uninvited?..It's still hard for me to believe but I go along with it. This guy is even more powerful than I thought...We are in serious trouble here.*

"...alright...I'll see what I can do." I respond now thinking to myself with my arms crossed.
"...hmm..."

OOC: Hold your martian horses there. Dinah and Mid-Nite are still on the roof, rigel should respond soon so don't rush things, I mean seriously..J'onn just GOT to the tower and we're all still reeling from the fight, *Or should be given the time*. Also WW and Ollie the designated NPC's are still in Gotham.

I know all you guys are getting jocks itch from waiting for the action but the interaction of chracters is just as much fun. I mean seriously..look at how the 'Dark Alliance' has been playing.

 

[Batman]

Nightwings eyes opened.

He could barely move,but did anyway,as He sat up to see that he was in Batmans quarters.

Supergirl must've dropped him there......


Getting up,and finding difficulty doing so,He walked out,and looked around.

He was in the Watchtower......and considering the amount of people......this was one of the Watchtowers.....busier.....days.

"Something must be happening..."He said to himself,walking around.


At that moment,the medics rushed past him,carrying someone.

He looked back,to see it was J'onn.....A burnt J'onn....

"What the hell...?"He said,as the medics J'onn away.

He continued walking........even though he wasnt in the best condition.

He was determined to find out just what,exactly,was happening......

But standing on the roof with her, Dinah realized Kara was really no different than any other teenager, save one that was superpowered and for all intensive purposes an alien.
She was not that different from Mia, or even Roy when he was that age.

Placing her hand on Kara's shoulder she said softly.
"We've all lost someone Kara and we all feel the same way. We can't take away what's been done already, but we can prevent more."

 

[Twitch]

Robin had made it out of the desert and collasped. A helicopter sped towards the ground and two ninjas picked the body up and the copter took off

My eyes opened to find darkness. Am I blind? I got my answer, a hard kick to the stomach.

"Get up you son of a *****!" said a harsh voice right in front of me.

I got a knee up but my skull was nearly cracked with a hard punch to the head. I felt dazed and confused. Then I felt a small breeze and shoved my hands up and blocked the leg and flipped it. I regained my vertical base and tracked his ragged breathing, to my right. I sent a blade kick to the supposed jaw or whatever I made contact with.

"Well done Drake."

I gained sight again when Ducard removed my blindfold. A medic was looking over my attacker.

"Status" Ducard turning his head to the medic.

"Dead sir"

"Well done Drake, well done."

He left the room leaving me shocked.

OCC: Sped up training and open for contact from others.

 

[Supergirl]

Dinah stepped back as smoke started to wrap around her.
She'd never really known how to interact with Superman's family, and had never been in the same circle as Supergirl.
But standing on the roof with her, Dinah realized Kara was really no different than any other teenager, save one that was superpowered and for all intensive purposes an alien.
She was not that different from Mia, or even Roy when he was that age.

Placing her hand on Kara's shoulder she said softly.
"We've all lost someone Kara and we all feel the same way. We can't take away what's been done already, but we can prevent more."

Dinah's words hit Kara deep. Tears rolled down her cheeks again, as she hugged the older hero.

"I've lost so much today, I was having the best day of my life and it crashed down, I should have been able to stop them. If not from killing Bart, then from killing Rachael, but I was being to reactive and not proactive, waiting for my cousin's permission. It hurts so much, how do you deal with it? Does it get easier?" Mia has said so much in praise of Dinah, I now understand why. Mia, oh god both her and Dinah lost people close to them as well, how is Dinah coping with Roy? Damn me for being so selfish.

OOC: Basically, Slade left with Mordu and Shade. We figured out that they're in Fate's tower. They killed Raven and potentially killed Cyborg. They burned J'onn with magic fire, and he got transported into the Watchtower along with Flash who helped get the fire out. Nightwing's in the tower trying to figure out what's going on. Supergirl's with Dinah, Mid-Nite's somewhere, and I'm trying to find everyone.
