I know a lot of people have said they feel CM Punk is boring and that his image is too wholesome. For me though, he is an inspiration for me, simply due to the fact that even though I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs I was going through a battle with my weight. I was eating fast food such as Burger King, Taco Bell, and etc everyday because I was so unhappy with myself and life in general.
CM Punk's dedication to his craft and his message helped me focus on doing something about my weight. I see how he's essentially the odd man in the industry due to his lifestyle and how it alienates those around him since he's not partying, getting drunk, or getting high. I ballooned to a whopping 282lbs of fat and when I say fat, I really do mean I was fat and I was too close to 300lbs. It was watching CM Punk and listening to what he has to say that pushed me to stop feeling sorry for myself, start putting some time and care into myself, and don't give up.
I am happy to say that I haven't ate fast food for the last 4 months and I've lost 30lbs with a strict diet and a consistent workout schedule. Sure, I could've done this on my own, however, it would've been too late and I would've been too big before I decided to actually do something.
