The Wrestling Thread CAN NOT DIE.. For it is ALREADY dead! -- - - Part 179

- There’s a feeling within WWE that the company is in the middle of successfully reloading NXT with signings that have been confirmed and some that will be official soon, led by the signings of Prince Devitt, Kenta and Kevin Steen.

There has been a lot of talk around NXT about how long those three will spend training at the Performance Center. None of the three want to spend a lot of time in developmental and word is that was a factor in all three of their contracts.

- There was some concern backstage over Sheamus after his match with Randy Orton on last Monday’s RAW. WWE trainers checking on his arm for a possible biceps injury but apparently it wasn’t anything serious.

The stuff about NXT has me convinced that HHH is trying to make NXT so much of a success that it will metaphorically *****slap Vince and Dunn in their faces.

Thread title suggestion:

What the Wrestling Thread know about Hard Times!?

NXT is consistently one of the WWE's best weekly shows in my opinion.

To an extent, possibly. But ending the streak would've potentially been a poisoned chalice for anybody, especially a new up and comer. Beating the guy who ended the streak for the title, not so much, and therefore seems like a great opportunity to elevate a new guy safely, than if it had been ending the streak.

I don't watch NXT, but really I should. I know they signed a female Irish wrestler and she comes out Irish dancing. I felt sick watching it.

- As of WWE’s Thursday morning creative meeting, the rules for the Rusev vs. Jack Swagger Flag Match at WWE SummerSlam tonight had not been decided on.

- Regarding Brock Lesnar possibly winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title from John Cena at SummerSlam tonight, it was reported this weekend that this does not mean Lesnar is going into WrestleMania 31 as champion.

- WWE flew the Superstars and Divas that worked last night’s live event in San Jose back to Los Angeles on the company jet instead of having them make the 5 hour drive.

- We noted a few weeks back that Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns matches were getting very bad reviews at WWE live events. It should be noted that last night’s Orton vs. Reigns match in San Jose was called the match of the night by several fans in attendance. It was noted that Reigns vs. Orton and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins were the two best matches at the San Jose live event.

Lesnar should win tonight. Cena is not winning tonight.

If Lesnar wins tonight I have a bad feeling they will just give Cena the title back at NOC. Even though Lesnar should keep it till atleast a PPV like Survior Series or Royal Rumble.

If Cena gets the title back at Night of Champions, he may not hold it for long, especially if it's a brutal stipulation match.

I'm hoping Daniel Bryan returns to face Lesnar. But, I highly doubt that will happen. :csad:

I'm getting the feeling Cena's going to win. Lesnar winning seems too obvious now. If so, then hopefully Seth cashes that bad boy in.

i really have a feeling that either cenas is going over again or its a no contest

I feel like Lesnar losing his first match after beating Undertaker at WM would be a HUGE mistake, but I would be ok with Cena winning and then losing immediately to Rollins.

They did that last year at Summerslam though. Face wins and heel cashes in. This is Lesnar's night tonight. He should keep the belt to Survivor Series at the least.

Lesnar losing to Cena would be Dumb now if Cena wins the match by DQ because Brock just keeps on beating him up I understand that but Brock should not be pinned or Submit. The Guy ended the UT Streak making him lose to Cena would just pretty much elimate what a force he was.

It would be kinda like Brock 1st match he dominated Cena but he still lost the match because of Cena's super man power.

We all know what's best, but knowing how things are done these days, anything's possible. Either way, I'd just like to see the belt on someone else, other than Cena.

As much as I don't want Champ Bork.. I want the title on Cena even less. Brock has to win tonight. Luckily I'll catch it on time since I only work til 5 tonight.

Not that time is ever an issue.. Since I have the WEE Network, which btw is ONLY 9.99 a month.

thanks to wwe i now cringe anytime i see something priced $9.99 at the shops

LOL My friend made a joke when we are at the store yesterday. We saw this WWE dvd that was actually 9.99 and he was hey look you can by this now for $9.99 plus tax.
