Stop rubbing it in! :argh::p

:hehe: Seeing The American Dragon vs The Leader of The Cenation and The Best In The World Live vs The Next Big Thing live? Win-win if you ask me.

To think I saw Bryan Danielson wrestle at a community center against Jon Moxley 3 years at a DGUSA show. Crazy how times change.

For the new thread:

:D :up:

Cena Heel turn?????

Not likely, but they could do it here.

Cena picks Bryan as his opponent, picks him to give Bryan a chance but doesn't consider him a challenge. Bryan beat him clean in an upset. Cena can't believe it, gets frustrated and attacks Bryan. Bryan slides into the PG friendly face role and Cena slides into the heel role. Bam.

YES!

and then we get an Orton cash in on DB...could be interesting.

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! The Wrestling Thread Has Spoken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since Payback they haven't had a bad one, in my opinion. Less dead segments, logical booking, good (to great) matches, hot storylines, and a surprise or two?

WWE Creative is doing their job, the product is quality right now.

Perhaps a result of their new head writer?

It seems as though, since the previous head writer's departure, they have been booking the show WAAAY better than before.

Definitely, this is the best stretch of booking WWE has had in years.

Be smarky and ruin the chances of a darling?...Never! :cwink: :oldrazz:

Ah but once you become over with the masses you lose your smark cred, you've sold out to the man! :woot:

Hunter and Vince couldn't get their "Most Masks" record, so they went for the "Most burials at one time" record.

:awesome::up:

WWE were lucky that the crowd didn't try to be smarky and went along, if they hadn't actually chanted for Bryan that segment died, I guess they just relied on how over Bryan is and man is he over! The crowd response at the end was epic! :wow:

The WWE has some huge faith in Daniel Bryan's overness to base their entire program off of fan reaction.

If they want to turn Orton heel he has to cash in on DB. If he cashes in on Cena he's still going to be cheered.

And a Cena heel turn is never happening, IMO.

Agreed, I mean they were booking the main event of the second biggest PPV of the year without a safety net.

Maybe Vince will have the last laugh afterall?... :wow: :csad:

I might be underestimating DB but right now I see him as playing kind of like the Mick Foley role (not necessarily as his wrestling style but where he's positioned on the card).

If DB wins the title it's going to be the biggest pop in the WWE in a while (especially if Cena taps out). But to me John Cena vs. CM Punk is the match you build to for the main event of Wrestlemania, and like Rock/Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 15 and how they utilized Mick Foley as a champion leading up to that, they need somebody to carry the main event feuds.

As a Danielson mark, I never thought I would see him in this position. Many thought he would be a multiple time US/I-C Champion at best and get jobbed out for the rest of his WWE career. Now he's facing the top guy in the WWE for the top prize in the company at the second biggest show of the year. Incredible.

I can't believe it myself. In fact, two ROH and indie alumni will now have main-evented the 2nd biggest wrestling event of the year: CM Punk in 2011, Daniel Bryan in 2013.

Last time I was extremely beyond pumped for a match in WWE was probably Cena/Punk from MITB. Maybe as well HHH/Taker from WM28 because I was there live for it and Taker is my favorite wrestler of all time.

I wonder what Samoa Joe thinks when he looks at Punk and Bryan, wondering if he should have took a chance and aimed for the big time.

And both against the top guy in the whole company.

WE WANT WRESTLING. :woot:

I wonder if AJ Styles wonders the same. Would've been great to have the founding foundations of ROH make it to the big leagues.

And it's literally the same top company guy.

You may have a point. I'm hoping he exceeds that position though.
