Mark Briscoe is the last man added to the ROH World Championship Tournament. I love how ROH is spacing this tournament to 4 shows. It'll this tournament feel more special IMO if the matches turn out to be very good to great. Reason I say that is because we might see either Michael Elgin vs ACH or Elgin vs Karl Anderson. :D

The next ROH World Champion is ABKS (Anyone but Kevin Steen)

Has Jay Briscoe definitely left ROH?

Not from what I have heard. She had a WWE tryout a month ago.

My guess is that she's doing some MMA training so that she can add it to her wrestling arsenal if she signs with WWE.

Cool, I thought both her and Sarita were underutilized in TNA.

What about punk vs Bryan vs cena?

That could work but I think it lacks the epic quality of a one on one WWE title main event.

It's a storyline with Jay. Jay is gone temporarily. At this point, I can't say the same about The American Wolves....

So what's the point of the storyline? Is he legit injured so they've took the belt off him and he'll return later to fight whoever wins the title? I understood his contract was up and he was weighing up his options.

I guess going on the road has been the worst thing to happen to TNA wrasslin' and that's saying something.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter report Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff pushed the idea of moving Impact out of Universal Studios as a necessary game changer. TNA President Dixie Carter had stated that the move out of Orlando put the future of the company at risk. But there has been no increase in revenue to offset the added expense, and ratings have actually declined.

Since leaving Universal Studios in Orlando, FL and taking Impact on the road, the cost of taping Impact skyrocketed to $600,000 per taping. The increased cost of taping Impact with no increase in ratings and revenue has caused the company significant financial problems.

He was legit injured so they had no choice. Guess they were scared of losing him.

More proof that Hogan and Bischoff are cancer to TNA and Dixie Carter is clueless.

This. Eventually, her father is gonna realize his daughter is throwing away all his money and just shut down TNA.

Unfortunately it seems like that we'll see a "Rise & Fall of TNA" DVD in the not too distant future.

I wouldn't put too much stock in what Wrestling Observer puts out. TNA is a private-owned company as their finances aren't public.

Both Bruce Prichard and D-Lo Brown are no longer in TNA.

Which could actually be a good thing for ROH.

I don't think TNA is going to shut down anytime soon though.

That Gold Rush tournament match between HBK and Shelton is one of the all time classic Raw matches.

I always said the same about the MVP gimmick, it was tailor made for Shelton as it required an athletic show-off. MVP was a guy who's ring style never gelled with his character.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this! That was exactly my line of thinking! MVP bores me to tears in the ring, but Shelton had/has the athleticism to line up with what that character was intended to be. And giving him a sleazy "sports agent," whether Heyman, Estrada or someone else to do his talking for him would have fit right in line with what they were originally going for.

Hogan and Bischoff actually had a good point. It was a way for TNA to branch themselves out to try to get a bigger audience. My recent attendance to the Vegas tapings is proof of this.

TNA has the talent (their homegrown talent as well as former WWE Superstars), but their biggest problems are marketing and funding. If TNA had Ted Turner-like money, they'd be kicking WWE's ass all over the place. That's a fact, Jack.

Re: HBK's Last Match

While a match against Hunter was discussed and even teased, The Miz was originally going to end Michaels's career. Yeah...

Re: WWE's PPV Discussion Panel

What are your thoughts on this? I think its pretty cool they get four individuals together and keeping it kayfabe.

Also, TNA has signed Mo Lawal and Rampage Jackson.

Their contracts alone are worth more than almost every single wrestler on the roster sans Hogan, Angle, and Sting probably.

If they cut the two MMA guys loose, it would definitely free up some money for the company.

They won't.

And they'll probably end up signing Tito Ortiz with the rumors Tito is thinking of a comeback with Bellator.

That's true. I prefer when the main event is one on one. I would go with punk/cena then. It's been such a great and anticipated main event already, and it would definitely be worthy of wrestlemania XXX

CM Punk deserves to be in the main event of Wrestlemania. And not the co-main event like last year, he should be in the match that closes the show for the WWE Title.

Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk for the WWE Title would be a great match but that would probably mean Cena/Taker and that'd probably go last. I think they gotta go CM Punk vs. John Cena and Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar.

I kinda think they're going that direction, Cena and Punk haven't been in the same segment since Wrestlemania, they haven't mentioned each other at all, Heyman keeps dropping hints about how Punk's main dream was to main event Wrestlemania. If booked correctly (and I trust Heyman to do this) this could be an angle they could ride all the way up to the Royal Rumble (I salivate at the idea of a Team CM Punk vs. Team Brock Lesnar War Games match at Survivor Series).

And I wouldn't want this but if the rumors are true of HHH/McMahon being shoehorned into the main event then I could see McMahon backing Cena and HHH being forced to back Punk.

The problem with Undertaker vs. Brock is that Undertaker is getting up there in age and Brock is not known to take it easy on guys.
