At times like this you have to separate the person from the character. What a monumental loss Hulk Hogan is to professional wrestling.

I grew up a Hulkamaniac in the 80s but grew to hate the man in his older age. Today is a very sad day for the wrestling world as Hogan was the face of wrestling for over 2 decades. RIP brother!

Hulk Hogan is the first wrestling superstar who took pro wrestling into the mainstream that others will follow such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, and Roman Reigns among others. Gorilla Monsoon was right that there will never be another like him. Thank you for the memories, Hulk. May you conquer your opponents as World Champion for all eternity,. RIP

Hulk Hogan was the earliest memory I have of wrestling, as I am sure is the case with most people in my sort of age bracket by which time he was already a superstar. Without question the first wrestler that got me interested before I started watching the then WWF.

By wrestling terms, he did well particularly with some of the health problems he had to make it to his 70's.

I'm guessing anyone familiar with the late 90's and early 2000's wrestling landscape knows that Vince Russo was a garbage booker, a moronically bad onscreen character, and pretty much a lying sack of ****? I've seen this from him towards Iyo and now Stephanie, so we can add xenophobia to his list of lowlife traits, and criticising anyone's mic skills when you need to use the word "bro" when talking, like other people use oxygen, is laughably ironic. He's too dense to understand that their accents and not sounding like everyone else is part of their charm and makes them stand out, but coming from the guy who booked like a 14 year old boys virgin fantasies when it came to women, it's unsurprising.

They've announced the line-ups for the 2 nights of SummerSlam and there's a lot of WTF? going on. Firstly putting Cargill vs Stratton and the Jellyroll nonsense on the same night is a bit stinky, and why are all the tag matches on night 1, and both No DQ matches on night 2? No balance,

Also why isn't it 7 matches on each night like WrestleMania? And why does night 2 only have 5 matches? And lastly why the **** have they added Kross vs Zayn? We just saw that match on Raw. where is Black vs Priest and the US Champion Giulia? I'm guessing Stephanie Vaquer and the Bellas vs Chelsea & The Secret Hervice will be added to night 2.

I saw that in one of the backstage segments last week Kiana James was spotted in the background with Giulia, and this week it's revealed that she's Giulia’s representive, I guess like Cornette was with Yokozuna. they could have put the Giulia vs Zelina rematch on SummerSlam, instead of next week's Smackdown.

They've gone with the Smackdown tag division instead, I guess because the Raw teams got the Mania slot. I just don't get why they're doing Kross vs Sami again, instead of Priest vs Black.

All the matches were rushed, it's possible the ad breaks effected my perception but I don't think so, Chelsea vs Jade and Jacob vs Miz were abruptly made and short, Alexa vs Roxy was really short, and the tag title match was essentially an extended angle to get to the TLC announcement.

The Hogan tribute, Cody’s simple promo, and surprisingly, Jellyroll's promo segment, we're the only highlights this week.

I like Bully more than most of the wrestlers turned podcasters, he's not compromised by bitterness or loyalty, despite still being on WWE programming. However his point here only holds if the Women start getting more PLE spots on the regular.

Skimmed through Smackdown on fast forward, stopped to watch the Priest/Black promo, which should be getting more time… Then saw the Summerslam card, no match for them… Stupid…

Skipped Hogan, Cody and Jelly Roll… I’m done watching anything with celebrities in it and unless Cody is facing one of my favorites I’m done watching any segments with him…

Summerslam is mostly skippable stuff for me… I’ll probably watch it after the fact since the only match I’ll probably watch all the way through is Punk/Gunther… I’ll probably skim through Roman/Uso vs BronBron, Sami/Kross and watch the end of AJ/Dom in hopes that they get the belt off Dom… The rest I don’t really care about… Just not interested in much going on right now…
