Were there any updates on Evan Bourne?

Tyson Tomko somehow survived this:

Former WWE and TNA Wrestling talent Travis "Tyson" Tomko, 38, is currently being held in Florida's St Johns County Jail.

According to a police report on StAugustine.com, he was arrested this morning on a robbery charge. He was booked at 5:36 a.m. and given inmate number SJSO10MNI015725. No bond is listed.

Tomko last performed on a national stage for TNA Wrestling in 2010. He parted ways with the organization in August of that year.

Robbing a CVS Pharmacy on October 10th allegedly threatening to attack the pharmacist unless he forked over several bottles of Oxycodone.

The pharmacist claims he complied -- and Tomko escaped with 210 tablets of the powerful painkiller. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Tomko went to a nearby Chili's where he asked his waitress for a spoon. When the server brought him a teaspoon, he asked for a "deeper spoon" and when he got it, he took it to the men's room where he remained for 30 to 40 minutes.

Cops were eventually tipped off and when they arrived on the scene, one officer says Tomko had "needle marks and blood running down his arm" and had just flushed something down the toilet. Tomko was taken into custody -- and allegedly told police he has a "severe drug problem."

Cops say Tomko admitted he took the Oxycodone from CVS ... and injected 178 pills, which he crushed up and melted down ... but he swore he never threatened the pharmacist. Tomko was taken to a nearby hospital ... then transported to a nearby jail, where he was booked for robbery. He's currently behind bars -- bond was set at $7,500.

Damn. He's gonna need his own problem solver.

You're right. How the heck is he still walking around? The guy has a SERIOUS problem if he went through all that to need and get painkillers.

When you hotshot a mid-carder from another company you're basically saying that company's mid-carders are better than you're main eventers. Make them work for it.

Yeah I agree. Somebody like Jeff Hardy was already a top guy but with a guy like MVP or even RVD having them come in and beating top TNA guys just makes them look awful.

AJ losing the title to RVD, after the end of his last run with WWE where he wasn't on top, made AJ look weak.

The best use for former WWE veteran midcarders is using them to put over younger TNA stars. Having someone like Kaz or Aj beating Matt Hardy looks a lot better than them beating Gunnar or Crimson.

Damn I put you're instead of your.

MORE ON THE ROCK'S RETURN

By Dave Scherer on 2011-10-11 15:52:42

Following up on Mike Johnson's story from earlier today, WWE released the following this afternoon:

Finally, The Rock(R) Returns to Boston

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct 11, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WWE(R) announced today that "the most electrifying man in entertainment," The Rock, will return to the city of Boston at the TD Garden on Monday, November 14 for a special three hour Raw(R) SuperShow that will air live on USA Network at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT.

What will happen when "The People's Champion" The Rock and John Cena(R) meet in Cena's hometown in their first face-to-face encounter since the spring? Ever since the announcement of the epic main event of Rock vs. Cena at WrestleMania(R) XXVIII on April 1, 2012, the two Superstars have engaged in a war of words. Can these two Superstars get along six days before they team up at Survivor Series(R)?

Tickets for the special Raw SuperShow are available at the TD Garden Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com , or by calling 1-800-745-3000. The live event portion of the show has a special start time of 7:15 PM.

THE FANS WALKED OUT ON RAW RATING

By Dave Scherer on 2011-10-11 18:30:03

The 10/10 Raw rating was very telling as a lot of fans were interested in how WWE would progress the "walk out" storyline and they left in droves when they saw what WWE had planned. Hour one did a 3.49 rating with 5,375,000 viewers while hour two did a 3.02 with 4,667,000 viewers. The message fans sent are pretty clear.

HULK HOGAN-TNA CONTRACT UPDATE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-10-11 14:01:24

Sources are indicating that Hulk Hogan's new deal with TNA is a two year contract. Where goes Hogan, so goes Eric Bischoff as well.

Update on a Possible Kevin Nash Return, Update on the DX Reunion, Del Rio & Mascaras at SmackDown, Cena on Nick

Posted by Marc Middleton on 10/11/2011

- John Cena will star in Nickelodeon's "Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred" next Saturday night, October 22nd at pm EST. Below is a new clip of Cena on set:

- As noted before, Mexican legend Mil Mascaras is advertised for this Sunday's SmackDown tapings in Mexico City. The only RAW Superstar advertised for those tapings is Mascaras' nephew - WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio.

- Regarding the DX reunion advertised for tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings in Dallas, Shawn Michaels said on Twitter today that he didn't think it was being filmed for TV.

- Kevin Nash will reportedly finish filming the movie he is working on towards the end of this week. As noted before, Nash is expected to return to WWE TV in some capacity before the year is over. Nash also recently got some tattoo work done on his arm.

When you hotshot a mid-carder from another company you're basically saying that company's mid-carders are better than you're main eventers. Make them work for it.

I disagree. It is standard practice for a midcarder to undergo some sort of change, often very small...and next thing you know they are winning every week. Santino learned The Cobra and became a tag team champion. There are tons of examples over the years...heck...Chris Jericho was a joke at one point, and is a future Hall Of Famer. Blackjack Bradshaw ended up the longest reigning World Champ in Smackdown history because he started using his initials when he wrestled. For a midcarder who has big victories in his past to take some time off and go to a new company, they SHOULD be ready for a hot streak.

John Morrison is designed for the WWE style of doing things, he needs to be presented the right way, I don't see him being a good fit on an indie show.

Personally I think AJ Styles vs. John Morrison is a fued waiting to happen given the barbs AJ has thrown towards Morrison.

What has AJ been saying?

John Laryngitis didn't draw? :wow:........

Agree to disagree I guess. I still think you would make the ROH guys look like dog **** by having MVP win the world title after being there for a cup of coffee. The world title doesn't bounce around as much in ROH as it does in WWE or TNA, It would be smarter to give the guy a TV title run and build towards a world title win.

Aj and Morrison would blow us away in a ladder match but I hate to see Morrison leave WWE. They'd know how to present him right and and cover his weaknesses. They've done it before. The guy has a ton of potential.

Great look and he can do what most wrestlers can't in the ring. He just needs to tap into more personality and present it.

There are a lot of great fueds waiting for him in WWE. It'd just be a real shame to see his career sidetracked when WWE is having trouble building stars.

A guy can have a hotstreak while being BUILT to the top spot instead of coming in immediately at the top. A guy who was a loser in another company suddenly coming in and being on top is a risky proposition.

Sounds like MVP is doing well in Japan but he'd need to build some credibility in ROH before they make him top dog. Especially when you've had guys already there busting their hump for years.

It was like Jeff Jarrett going from midcard guy in WWF to top guy in WCW and later TNA. Nobody bought that.

And it took YEARS from JBL to go from the New BlackJacks to "Wrestling God." He gained some credibility for years in the APA that he didn't have before.

What has AJ been saying?

Nothing recently, but a about a year or two ago AJ had a lot of negative things to say about Morrison. Aj said Morrison was unoriginal and stole a lot guys moves, including his own. There was some other stuff to, but I'd have to find the interview. Needless to say Aj did not seem too fond of Morrison

Edit: Here's the interview Hunter....

http://tv.ign.com/articles/102/1021454p2.html

IGN: Or that body-building thing he had going with Luger. I remember that one. Listen, I have to ask. WWE Diva Michelle McCool has come under some fire on Twitter for using your finisher, "The Styles Clash," as her finisher. How do you feel about that? What's the etiquette in the industry? Do people ask to use other people's moves, or is that something that just happens when you're a competitor?

Styles: Gail Kim's one of my really good friends, and I asked her about that and we talked about it and she (McCool) does do my move, but I'm flattered that she would think to use that move. It doesn't bother me at all. I guess it might be different if a guy was doing it and calling it something else. At one point Crash Holly was doing the "Crash Landing" which was The Styles Clash, but little did I know that they were just big fans of the move. Crash was a good guy. We got along great. We actually did an independent show and we both were going for the Styles Clash and we got into an argument. It was really funny.

The fact of the matter is this. People know it. That's the Styles Clash. That's my move. I came up with it on my own. It's okay. I understand, you gotta come up with something and there's not a lot of moves in the world. It's hard to be different. But it's cool with me. Now it would be different if it was a guy in my own company. But there is that one dude. What's his name? I'm like, good grief, this guy does everyone else's move and hasn't come up with one. He's a heck of an athlete.
Morrison. Yeah, I've seen him do a lot of Low Ki's moves. He does my Spiral Tap. I was like, "Man, this guy watches a lot of tape." But he does them well, so I can't say anything bad about him. He does them well. He's heck of an athlete.

Remember, in MVP's history he defeated Chris Benoit. What you're saying is that it makes Ring Of Honor talent look weak when a guy who could defeat Chris Benoit also defeats them. By default, you're saying that Ring Of Honor's current champion is in the same league as Benoit. MVP has also defeated Shelton Benjamin, a current title holder in ROH.

But for the sake of agreeing...I'll say that I'd be happy if Homicide were ROH champ, as he is more recognizable (although he will be most remembered for his massive screw-up on the Monday Impact). I'd also have been fine with Shelton, if he werent a tag title holder.

Grant Morrison >>>>> John Morrison

I keep hearing that one of the Bellas is ugly and the other one is hot...but darned if I cant find the ugly one...

I am flabbergasted by this news.

Yeah, MVP also went on a losing streak where he lost matches to curtain jerkers.

Re: Brock Lesnar's interview

Sh**, it looks like we may get Lesnar Vs. Undertaker for Wrestlemania after all! :wow:

Re: Tomko

I liked Tomko. Shame he ruined his life by succumbing to drug addiction. He should've stayed in Japan, he seemed happy working over there.

Re: Morrison

He could've been a top player, but he let his b**** ruin his pushes time and time again. Disrespecting Trish was the last straw. According to Maria, she alluded Drew is being punished for the hotel incident (even though it was Tiffany's fault).

Why would they have the vengeance main event on smackdown?

Not the first time they've done this. They booked Booker T Vs. Rey Mysterio on the last Smackdown before their match at The Great American Bash in 2006!

I still maintain that Henry should be the only champ in WWE right now. Punk should have left and stayed gone with that belt

Since Orton will be busy with Rhodes, I think Survivor Series main event will be:

Cena, Rock, Helmsley, Punk, and Sheamus

Vs.

Del Rio, Miz, Truth, Christian, and Nash

instead. I can also see
Foley
and/or
Jericho
showing up at MSG.

:awesome:

You know WWE is really classless not informing J.R. of the segment before it happened. In his hometown no less.
Isn't that how they always do J.R. anyway?

Everytime they do RAW in his hometown, they always do some storyline for the show involving him.

Austin's being a tease right now:

steveaustinBSR said:
So @DCBROCKLESNAR was talking trash about me...very interesting. Gonna finish my beverage and mull this one over...catch y'all tomorrow.

Trying to go to sleep..but this @DCBROCKLESNAR thing is winding me up a bit...relax....breath...relax...breathe....no use..to be continued..

If the match does go down, it'll be a wonderful coincidence as next year will mark 10 years since Austin walked out because of the proposed Lesnar match.
