I was thinking about WM30, and came up with my ideal card:

Cena/Punk/Bryan (WWE WHC Match): I think this should definitely be the ME for WM XXX: The Top three stars of the current era facing off. I’d have Cena win the title at Royal Rumble, with Bryan winning the rumble match. And much like Shawn did in the build for WM20, I’d have Punk cleverly get himself into the match. Bryan would win the title, finally getting an actual title reign.

Taker/Lensar (Streak Match): IMO, this one writes itself. Bring up the fact that Taker never beat Brock one on one, as well as their UFC incident.

Batista/Orton: Since Batista will probably be face, I’d have the Authority try and lure Batista to their side, only for him to reject them. The Authority/Orton would then interfere in Batista’s matches and commit other shenanigans. I’d bring in Ric Flair and have him side with Batista. Batista would win the match, only to have him looking strong so he could eventually put over either Punk or Bryan at Summerslam.

The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family: I like the idea of the Wyatt’s actually being anti authority all along, and would possibly make them the anti-heroes in this feud. Tease Reigns’ eventually face turn even further, culminating in The Wyatt’s beating the Shield at WM. Post Match, we would see the Shield finally erupt, ending with Reigns spearing both Rollins and Ambrose.

AJ vs. Natalya (Diva’s Title Match): AJ should get her comeuppance at WM30, and T the moment, Nattie is the only one I can see taking the title off of her. The storyline could tie into Nattie always being looked over.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio (Ladder Match): I would have Dolph acknowledge two things: That he has spent a lot of time losing, and that he has spent a lot of time losing to Del Rio. Ziggler would decide to put his contract on the line, claiming that if he can’t be Del Rio at WM, he can’t call himself the showoff, and if he can’t call himself the showoff, his WWE career is over.

Big E Langston’s Gauntlet Match (IC Title): IMO, this would be a good way to show off Big E’s power and toughness, while putting guys in a WM match. This would be a perfect chance to show off the 5 count gimmick.

Any thoughts? I had no idea what could be done for The Rhodes Brothers, to be honest.

I can dig this card. Involving Triple H with Orton/Batista is a good use of him, and really if he's not going to wrestle Bryan to wrap up that feud, then a non-wrestling role is best for him.

That ladder match for Dolph's career is smart. That's a great way to reignite him after the last six or so months. Fans could immediately flock to him over it.

WWE has a new policy in place that allows for talents with two strikes to get one removed after completing a wellness class. Orton probably has one strike now.

I like The Batman's card but maybe you should add a four corners tag title match.

Another good idea.

I thought the rule was that after a certain period of time, the Wellness strikes are removed, and now Orton is back to square one.

Brock's best promo ever. :D

I like The Batman's WM card, too.

too bad WWE doesn't have enough sense to do something like that.......

This the superman punch you guys were talkin about a while back?

I am pumped to be going to a house show tonight in my area of Virginia (Hampton) and I have floor seats. Its a Raw live event and CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, The Shield, The Wyatt's, Big E, Miz are the biggest names that are scheduled to appear. My only gripe is that one of the matches says Daniel Bryan is suppose to face the Wyatt's in a steel cage. That's odd considering what happen on this past Raw. I guess storylines don't stick for house shows lol. Still excited for tonight. :woot:

You're in Hamption too? How bout that...

Nah. Reigns leaps in the air with his Superman punch.

EDIT: Nevermind, just let the full gif play out. That was it. My bad.

Thoughts from Smackdown.

Glad to see Usos back and looking good. That corkscrew! Rhodes brothers vs Wyatts was good again. Those teams never disappoint. Theyre selling this Wyatt Bryan thing a ton which just makes me feel that it might not a brief stint like I hoped it be. Pretty sure this leads up to Wrestlemania, just hope by then Bryan turns again. Looking forward to Raw. Most likely will get our first glimpse into what Daniel Wyatt will look like. Just hoping HOPING HOPING its not an authority/big show type agreement where Daniel serves as a property of sorts and only briefly appears and says even less.

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

Since we have one title now. Do you guys think they will get rid of the Money In The Bank PPV? I personally would like if they brought it back to Wrestlemania.

Yeah I'd prefer it back to WM exclusive too

It's fine where it is. They can use it to set up the #1 contender for the time period of Summerslam thru the Rumble. It's a good idea to have that in your back pocket in case a feud doesn't work out or an injury derails your plans.

It's Elimination Chamber they need to get out of in between the Rumble and WM. It's pretty much useless there if we know that the title won't likely change hands in the match.

Man, when was the last time Spoons posted in here before today?

Well I am in Portsmouth, but I hang out a lot in Hampton and Virginia Beach. You going to the house show tonight?

I'm going too!

Someone plotting an invasion and forgot to tell me?

What was the biggest disappointment:

Hogan Vs. Warrior II - Halloween Havoc 1998

Goldberg Vs. Lesnar - WrestleMania 20

Orton Vs. Helmsley - WrestleMania 25

Tied between Hogan vs Warrior HH'98 and Goldberg vs Lesnar WMXX,Orton vs Trips WM25 was fine except the result

I'd say Hogan and Warrior. I didn't expect much with both men having their best years behind them but good God they stunk up the joint.

Hogan vs Sting at Starrcade '97. It was built to perfection but the match didn't come off well.
