What would explain Miz or R-Truth who were just fine with Rock?

:whatever: That match wasn't that great either. You've confused the point. That has nothing to do with two people just having not that great chemistry. There have been better wrestlers than Rock and Cena put together that didn't have great chemistry for whatever reason either. Curt Hennig and Shawn Michaels were ten times the workers Rock and Cena were but when they wrestled the matches weren't as good as you would think.

Rock also didn't have to work Miz OR Truth one on one. There were FOUR people in there to carry the load. There was a reason for that. Its always easier to hide certain things when people have less time in the ring. The longer it goes one on one any problems will be exposed. Rock also basically got to beat up on them because everyone with a brain knew which team was going to win.

Rock didn't exactly have mind blowing match chemistry with Undertaker either but Taker did with Edge, Michaels, Foley, etc. Sometimes two guys click and sometimes they don't. Edge clicked with Cena.

Edge brought out the best in Cena

The tag match was really hard to judge because there wasn't much to it.

I think they are fighting an uphill battle with Sin Cara, it's typical Vince ignorance to think he can just plug in another Luchadore and voila! he's got a replacement Rey, Rey is unique.

Rey is one of a kind. I know he might be going through the motions nowadays but I still consider him one of the best wrestlers.

The Nexus was honestly the best thing for Barrett.

It might of been had they not jobbed him out when he was leading the CORR. They gave him a great set-up but he lost all credibility after the first 6 or 7 months.

After that I found his character boring. I'm in favor of the apparent repackage. Although I do want another stable in WWE. Nexus returning wouldn't be the worst idea but it won't be a hot angle. The new team will have to rebuild it's reputation.

Drew and Jinder-New Un-Americans...They need a Canadian, though. Hunico could fit in too. Put Ceasaro in there too, he isn't getting much heat at the moment. Regal as the manager.

I miss chair shots to the head, they had more of an impact.

Great ending to the show though.

Kane + Daniel Bryant+ 2 folding chairs + all the other tag teams = AWESOME!!!!!!!

Lol, this is like if the Hulk and Wolverine became friends.

Slater is obviously in the group though. Cole made a point to say he was directing traffic, so he might be the leader.

Lol, but remember that Jinder IS Canadian too! :hehe:

He's the Benedict Arnold of the group.

Hmm, I don't understand ... are you saying that Heath is a principled, loyal defender of the king and country, and staunch fighter against ungrateful and treacherous colonists?

The repackage doesn't really excite me. I honestly think Barrett needs a stable to build him up, especially when we already have heels like Punk and Ziggler at the moment. Barrett solo just doesn't seem to click now, or at least not the last couple of weeks.

Chair shots to the head need to occur more. Chair shots to the "kidney" or stomach area is overplayed.

Considering the damage that it's made with Wrestlers like Benoit in terms of brain traumas and concussions that they received, I'm kind of glad that the chair shots are mainly gone from the organization.

Who also happened to be voiced by Dustin Hoffman in the PBS Series "Liberty's Kids."

:woot:

Like Rob Conway in La Resistance.

just look at him.

Considering the risks its not worth it. I don't want these guys having long term issues just because of crap like that so I can get off on it. There are better ways to entertain than garbage wrestling. Doesn't take nearly as much skill to swing a chair compared to a truly great wrestler and what he can do. Besides chairshots were used to amuse the easily amused when guys didn't feel like putting in the effort any other way. A rare chairshot to the head is more effective. When you see them more the whole action is watered down.

People gasped when HHH cracked Takers head with that chair at Mania a few years ago. It was far more potent because we didn't see it much. Thats how it should be and thats when it works best.

A couple head shots to lower the number of "kidney" shots won't do anything serious to anyone. It'll at least bring in something more than "kidney" shot after "kidney" shot.

And to say it only amuses the "easy fans" is quite a silly thing to say. Hell, you could say that about any weapon being used. It still grabs attention and not just the "easy fans".

Watching the parts of Smackdown that I missed. DBry and Kane are ****ing gold!

There was a report prior to survivor series that The Rock had been training with Miz and Truth.

I would have Wade Barrett, Mason Ryan, Drew McIntyre and perhaps a couple newbies from NXT.

Finally saw Punk/Cena from Night of Champions. Great match, as expected. Not as good as their Money in the Bank and Summerslam bouts, but definitely up there with them. Crazy good chemistry they have. Too bad their current feud doesn't match up to it.

- WWE officials are reportedly pleased with the improvements that have been made to adjust Raw to a three-hour format. Officials reportedly recognize that the three-hour show is a "work in progress" and the company knows they need to find a way to perk up the third hour rating, but they are pleased with how things are going overall.

The company is unlikely to go back to the two-hour format, as USA pays a lot more for the show as a three-hour show.

According to several reports online, Beth Phoenix has given notice to the WWE that she will be leaving the company. Phoenix's contract is up at the end of the month.

Beth Phoenix was pushed to be a top dominant Diva in the WWE, until she has been relegated to putting other Divas over. Also, with the release of Kharma, WWE Creative had a hard time of finding competition for her. This was supposed to be the "Big Money Divas" feud that WWE were never able to cash in on.

While in Philadelphia, Daniel Bryan was interviewed on Preston & Steve. Here are some of the highlights from the interview.

On how he went from Bryan Danielson to Daniel Bryan: "For years, I wrestled on the independents as Bryan Danielson, which happens to be my real name. So, the creative geniuses at the WWE -- to own the intellectual property -- have switched my name around to Daniel Bryan.

"It could have been much worse because they left it up to me to come up with a list of names as far as what I could have been. I did not come up with Daniel Bryan, William Regal did. I actually had a list of names that included Buddy Peacock and Lloyd Bonaire. [Laughs.]

On being more injury-prone on the independents on the Jerry Lawler incident: "Oh, yeah, I did so much stupid stuff and on top of that, there are no doctors there. Or, not really good ones. For example: the whole issue that happened with Jerry Lawler where he had the heart attack -- Dr. Sampson is an amazing doctor. I think they gave us a statistic that maybe one out of 260 people that go through what Jerry Lawler did make it through it.

"... I'm not exactly sure on the details of it but Dr. Sampson was literally 5 feet away and there's all this emergency staff and all kinds of stuff. So, you have the best medical staff there. On top of that, we have trainers and masseuses at television.

"So, if you have injuries and stuff, they kind of take care of you. On the independents, you don't even have a shower. You're driving 200 miles all sweaty, still in your spandex. You're huddled next to two other dudes, also in spandex. [Laughs.]"

On being a smaller wrestler, wrestling much bigger men: "I actually detached my rhetina against this 350 pound Japanese man who was punching me in the face. But the first time I was in there with Big Show, I really had the feeling of being a helpless baby.

"Before I was ever signed with WWE, I was doing a tryout wih them in 2005 or something like that. My friend Brian Kendrick was just standing outside the ring. Big Show was in the ring, reaches over, grabs him by the wrists and lifts him up like it was a lateral raise over the top rope and sets him in the ring.

"Granted, Brian Kendrick was only 175 pounds. But, when you think of lat-raising that...I lat raise maybe 25 pounds and it's tough. I'm doing my sets at the gym like, 'Ahh, I'm so strong!' And then there's Big Show who is lifting a human with one arm over the top rope."

On being vegan and having to ditch veganism while on the road: "When I got signed by WWE in 2009, I had a litany of health issues. So, my doctor recommended that I go vegan. ... Oh, my gosh, it's so tough. The doctor who had me do it gave me a lot of books. 'Read this, read this, read this, because especially for your needs, you're going to need a lot of nutritional help.'

"Actually, I just recently stopped being vegan because I developed a severe soy intolerance. When I'm at home, I still eat vegan because it's easy to do stuff at home when you're making it yourself. But the only vegan stuff at a lot of places is tofu stuff, all soy-based products. I need protein. [Laughs.]

On his previous health problems when he first signed with WWE: "Because I grapple all the time and you're always against mats and stuff like that, I had three different staff infection in 2009. And that's not common. There are people who grapple every bit as much as I do or more and not getting those staff infections. I just have a really weak imune system.

"The idea was, 'OK, meat, cheeses, milks, all that kind of stuff, is every difficult for your body to digest. You're using energy to digest that.' By eliminating that and eating easier-to-digest food, you're using more of your energy to fight off bacteria. And it worked.

"I felt great until probably four or five months ago and, all of a sudden, I just kept getting sick all the time. So, I went into my doctor. ... Apparently, soy is -- even organic soy -- it's so processed and so a lot of people develop soy intolerance especially from over-consumption. I was having a lot of soy."

On his "preparation for the apocolypse": "Some of the guys have been giving me a little bit of crap because I just bought 300 pounds of freeze-dried meat. I've been preparing for this dooms day scenerio. [Laughs.] It last for like 25 years. I see everybody here is just shaking their heads at me. [Laughs.] ... Actually, I'm not doing it because I think the apoloclypse is coming or anything like that but just with the hurricanes and stuff like that.

"They say you should have a month's worth of food set aside and five days of water. The 300 pounds is a little excessive but the justification is that I own a home in Washington State. Which is not realistic to live at when I'm on the road because traveling out of Seattle is a nightmare. So, I live in San Diego, so I have 180 pounds of freeze-dried food in one place and 120 pounds of freeze-dried food in another.

"So, you know, I'm... just ready. [Laughs.] Nothing weird about that, I'm just ready."

On whether or not he is single: "I am in a relationship with a former diva, yeah. One of the Bella Twins, Brie Bella. Yeah, much better than I should have done."
