The WWE Universe Doesn't Know That There's A Wrestling Thread - Part 28

Or maybe Sk just will admit the fact that Miz just drew a good buyrate and that people just didn't wanna see him vs Cena again after that.

Jeff Jarrett could draw more than the Miz.....look at what he's doing on RAW now...he's back where he belongs...in the ****ing midcard as a comedy act...im honestly hoping he gets the MVP treatment and finally gets pissed off and leaves on his own

What your not getting at Metallo is that PPV after WM haven't been doing that hot since 09. And The Miz main eventing the show drew the highest buyrate since 07.

Yea Miz is a serviceable upper midcarder who can slide in the main event when needed. But he mostly gets a push because Vince likes he's willing to bend over backwards for the company.Miz will make any appearances they want him to.That's why he's over with Vince.Plus even if your a fan of the guy you have to admit he had HORRIBLE chemistry with Cena. They're matches were below average.Miz hasn't really had chemistry with anybody else that I recall either. He can surprise me one day but I never see him being THE MAN like Cena or even a solid #2 like Orton and now Punk.

Jeff Jarrett can't draw a dime. TNA proves that.

It was because it was the tie up of post Mania loose ends and residual interest after The Rocks return.

Buyrates dropped in droves because people were JUST left with Cena vs Miz and people weren't impressed with the matchup.

Interest in WWE after Wrestlmania doesn't drop IMMEDIATELY the night after Wrestlmania. Show me one time where thats happened.

Interest in WWE was higher than usual this year thanks to the Rocks return.

I'v already said his match at Mania was bad. He did have a much better match with him on Raw after OTL.

thats Vince and the WWE exploiting the fanboy in him.....I do not doubt he is a fan and has a great reverence for wrestling....but him being where he is, is akin to putting someone like Harry Knowles in a movie....just ain't gonna work

Jeff Jarrett can't draw a dime. TNA proves that.

Jeff Jarrett aint a draw...but TNA doesnt draw because they don't have the long term recognition of WWE or a consistantly good product. Cena probably couldn't draw in TNA. look at Jeff Hardy. Draw in WWE...not nearly as much if at all in TNA.

BUT...Miz would draw worse in TNA than Jarrett does in TNA.

and he's not been seen since....and the ****** part is the mouth breathers will eat it up when he does come back....as much as I enjoy the Rock, either come back regular or stay gone

Eh...I'm agreeing with Punk and Cena more and more. I'm a fan of the Rock but he needs to start saying something interesting when he shows up instead of talkign in a baby voice and calling Cena a transvestite whatever. sh**ts getting old.

Of course people WILL eat it up and call him the greatest mic worker ever when he doesn't have nearly as much diversity in his usual promo to make that claim.

Mainly because people knew the belt was finally coming off him after six horrendous months of the guy as champ, when you have been the heel champ for the long and it's that time when the face is gonna pull the belt back you should draw a decent buyrate if your face is over.

Lets get a list of the previous main events in the same slot.

Buyrates for that show have been doing just ok though. The buyrate for the show after Mania didn't do anything special for the last two years.

those would be valid reasons too....

I don't get how fans are getting behind this yahoo.....he's a TV reject, he's basically a glorified fanboy who got a job because of "reality TV".....he's an average wrestler at best

I just don't get it.....at all

People are suckers for ''reality tv'' and even as an average wrestler he's still a case of living the dream which people can get behind. That's my guess anyway.

Jeff Jarrett is one in a long line of promoters who always put themselves over because it was "good for business".Jarret in 2002-2006 was even worse then Hunter's reign of terror on Raw at the time.

Buyrates at Mania 28 will probably do very well.

because people are self centered a-holes....sound theory though

to change gears for a minute.....maybe Impact should try and re-associate with the NWA....to think that barely 30 years ago the NWA title was THE title in wrestling and now what does it mean??

Because The Rocks return caused a higher than normal interest in the WWE product!

Miz had more interest on the show as a whole thanks to Wrestlmania and the Rocks return over the previous months.

Extreme Rules 10: Batista vs John Cena Last man stand match
Extreme Rules 09: Jeff Hardy vs Edge Ladder match.
Backlash 09: Edge vs John Cena Last man standing match
Backlash 08: JBL vs John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Triple H
Backlash 07: Triple H & Batista & Shane McMahon vs Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase

I do hope that Hulk Hogan is never TNA World Champion.

"He broke 6,000 guitars and never drew a dime."

Well it's pretty obvious why it drew better than the 4 bolded.

They feel they can usually protect the company best because its their investment and they aint going anywhere. Plus Jarrett had something to prove I think. He's a good wrestler but he was never a top guy. He thinks jsut because he has some kind of pedigree in the business he's higher u the totem pole than he is.

Plus Jarrett has that Russo mindset that any heat is good heat. Even if its Xpac heat. Comes from the whole worked shoot bs they love so much.

Miz had more interest but as seeing how many hand interest in the CM Punk angle and it didn't do has great as expected even in the states, interest alone doesn't do it.
